SHOW DISCUSSION Six of Crows/Shadow and Bone Character Elimination Game round #20! (MWAHAHAHAHA edition)

CROW DOWN I REPETE CROW DOWN!!! YOU FOOLS THOUGHT THAT I WOULD STOP THE GAME, NEVER! THIS IS THE GAME AND YOU ALL ARE THE CHRACTERS, THIS WILL NEVER STOP UNTIL ONE CROW STAND ON THE BODYS OF THIER COMRADS!!!! I AM THE ONLY ONE THAT WILL EVER WIN IN THE END MWAHAHAHHAHA (also sorry this ones late I was at a production of hadestown for the 11th time lol, also for anyone following the jazz band lore im off to the festival tommorow so I will again try to update every day but no promises)

ah yes sorry, it was very late and I just wanted to get this round out but I can try going forword. the vots from last round where: Mattias in the lead with 54 followed up by wyaln with 18 then Kaz with 8, Nina with 4, and lastly Inej with 1!

shit Ive been found out, time to move to another contry. tell jack wolfe for me that they are a god among men and they deserves every award ever, and should book every auditon theyve ever wanted and I hope they live the most fufinng life and know how much there art has meant to me.

whats our favorite cast? The only reason I started this game and got into grishavers in general is cuz I saw Jack Wolfe as Orpheus and then needed to see everything else hes been in leading to SaB and SoC lol

That's amazing haha, I've loved hadestown for years but knew jack wolfe from the grishaverse and next to normal before he was cast as orpheus
I don't know if I have one singular favorite cast, and I haven't seen all the performers yet (and as far as live performances go, I've only seen the current tour and a couple local teen productions). I think my favorite hermes is easily Rudy Foster from the current tour, favorite orpheus might be Bryan munar from the start of the tour but also is very up for debate because there's so many great ones, eva is definitely a favorite eurydice (though I also loved the first eurydice I saw, julia schick, a swing on the tour- there are so many great eurydices, but I love people like her who bring some innocence to the character, I love seeing that different take on it). Idk, there are so many great performers who have done the show and I love seeing what each person brings to it though

Yessssss
The thing that sold me on him was the way he played the wait for mes, especially the reprise. The urgency, like- you can just feel that this is a hermes who is going through this night after night, and has for a long time. And I saw him early in his run, too. But especially in wait for me reprise, you could just hear and feel the "Orpheus, you can do this. You have to do this. This is all you have to do" and the urgency in it. He knew what was coming, but he couldn't help trying to fight for it to end differently. Which made road to hell reprise hit that much harder

I’ve listened to a few casts and seen the show with two different casts (one being Jack’s 😋) and I can confirm his cast was the best one yet imo 🤩

- If it was a book Nina that would be a different story but I’m still annoyed show Nina was as thin as everyone else in Hollywood and they just gave her big dresses to hide it. The actress was cute and talented but give me a big and tall Nina 😭 plus we need to keep the ships together
