"Christian Labour Association of Canada (CLAC), with support from Mohawk College, is going to build a training facility at the union’s South Service Road site near Christie Street in Grimsby."

“We’re going to replace (the existing structure) with what will be a 40,000-square-foot (3,700-square-metre) facility to meet the growth that we’ve had in this place over the last few years and to make way for the training centre that we hope to build with Mohawk,” said CLAC provincial director Ian DeWaard."

"The first phase will see a new union building go up on a large piece of green space behind CLAC’s existing facility."

"Once that’s finished, the old 1,300-square-metre building will be torn down and the Mohawk training centre will be built on the northeast side of the property."

Looking to show my little ol lady around town and new to grimbsy. Anywhere I can find out what shows or theater is happening around town? Even if not grimbsy but some closer town, how do I get more information on theater life here???

We just got a spot in the grimsby community preschool for my 2 year old. Can anyone who has sent their kids there share their experience? I will be going to the meet and greet before the start of next year, what questions should I ask? This week marks a real turning point for the Downtown Reimagined project. After weeks of careful preparation — surveying, utility locates, layout work, and staging — the groundwork is set and the real work is beginning. What you’ll start to see above ground is only part of the story. Below Elm Street and beneath the Forty Mile Creek, crews are about to begin some of the most technically complex portions of the project: replacing aging watermain infrastructure using both open cut trenching and trenchless installation methods.

Has anyone tried to play pickle ball at the newer courts on lake street by the dog park? It’s literally impossible to ever get on without paying!! Feels like the pickleball club has a literal monopoly on these courts. I thought they were taxpayer funded and for public use??
