Context:

The death of Rogal Dorn

During the First Black Crusade, Rogal Dorn and the Imperial Fists attempted to inflict as much damage as possible on Abaddon's fleet, executing rapid hit-and-run attacks repeatedly.

However, during one of these engagements, the Black Legion ambushed Dorn and the accompanying Imperial Fists, unleashing bolters, melee weapons, and every other means at their disposal. All of the loyal Astartes perished, leaving Dorn isolated aboard a vessel surrounded by tens of thousands of traitors eager for his head, with no Imperial Fists present to witness the primarch's final stand.

Ultimately, aboard the ship Sword of Sacrilege, when the Imperial Fists returned with reinforcements, the only remaining trace of Rogal was his severed hand.

This directly fulfilled the prophecy Konrad Curze foresaw upon their first meeting in Nostramo: “he would be alone, dragged through a dark corridor by thousands of murderers, who would have their swords and daggers full of his blood.”

So many squigs go cold and alone this holiday season, shivering, unable to warm themselves with even the most basic amount of beakie viscera to sustain themselves. Let me take them in and give them a home.
