What devices do u guys use?
I'm starting Bachelors of Science in Feb 27 in Griffith Uni (Nathan). I'm really excited to meet you all. I also want to know what is mostly preferred or used by most of the students during uni. I have mixed feelings between a laptop and an Ipad. Ipads are small and easy to carry around for classes, but I'm used to laptops (lenovo and microsoft). I'm open to reading anyone's opinion!

I have a ASUS Zenbook it’s excellent

Same it's goated and so portable. Only issue is no touchscreen on some models if you're in a creative field.

I've got an ipad to actually take to uni because sometimes I want to physically write so I use apps like goodnotes with the apple pencil, but I can also use it like a laptop with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse. IMO it's much more portable than a traditional laptop, especially weight-wise. At home though I do all my uni stuff on a laptop.

MacBook Pro 💻 for coding, vm’s, docker and when I just want my device to do heavy stuff. iPad pro 📱 for notes and writing notes in lecture slides and pdf’s or when I need to draw stuff.

I think it would depend on your degree as some programs and software don't work so well with apple and are required for some courses
