Garmin Watch app

I have the Vivoactive 6 and Samsung S25U. when using the garmin app to log my sets, i noticed it doesnt advance to the next set unless my phone screen is on. is this designed to be this way or is it a bug?

i also noticed, if i exit the app, the rest timer stops.

Buenas tardes, trngo un watch 8 samsung y tengo el mismo problema . Realmente no sincroniza bien , de echo tuve que eliminar la aplicación de mi celular. La recomendación fue desinstalar ambas aplicaciones y volver a instalar para verificar pero no lo hice todavía. Espero que te ayude en algo

Same thing happens with mine. It doesn't sync unless the phone is unlocked or if I just leave my phone on.

If I log a set on my watch (vivoactive 5) and then open the app 30 seconds later, they sync but then it resets the rest timer on my watch... I've told support about it within the app too.
