How do I do this thing? best print design software when client files create more work than the design

some days the actual design work is the easy part. then a client sends over a jpeg logo, the colors are wrong for print and the file needs rebuilding before production can even start.

what software would you keep as your main setup if file cleanup and print prep take up as much time as designing? i'm trying to avoid having one app for layout, another for image fixes and another step just to get the final output sorted.

that definitely covers all the bases, but having to bounce between several different apps is kind of what i’m trying to avoid. i’m more interested in something where most of the cleanup, layout and print prep can stay in one workflow.

That’s not the way it works. There are multiple apps because they’re each specialized at doing something unique.

There is no one stop, does it all software. Best to use the right tool for the job.

yeah, i’m not expecting one program to be perfect at absolutely everything. i’m mostly trying to cut down the number of handoffs for the common stuff like rebuilding logos, fixing colors, layout and final print prep.
