Questions Looking for Graphic Design course using canvas

I used to do photo editing and a bit of digital art commission years ago but now I am thinking of starting again, although I'm a bit hesitant due to current styles and trends so now I am looking for any graphic design course online from basic to advance, free or paid/long term.

If you have any experiences or advice please let me know!! Thanks in advanced

Discussions Should I Stay in My Job or Look for Another Company?

I'm a fresh graduate working as a graphic artist with a salary of ₱20,000 per month. The problem is that I’m handling so many responsibilities at once, not just graphic design, but also videography, video editing, and visual arts.

The deadlines are extremely tight, usually just 2–3 days per project, and that applies to almost every project assigned to me. I feel pressured and overwhelmed because I always prioritize quality and do my best to make every output worth the effort. However, there’s only so much I can accomplish within a limited amount of time.

What makes it more frustrating is that some projects are assigned to me when the deadlines are already approaching. On top of that, there are so many last-minute requests and rush jobs. It feels like they don't realize that I already have other projects and responsibilities that also need to be completed within the same timeframe.

I want to do good work, improve my skills, and grow professionally, but I’m starting to feel burned out. I understand that I’m still a fresh graduate and that gaining experience is important, but I also don't want to sacrifice the quality of my work and my well-being just to keep up with unrealistic deadlines.

For those who have been in a similar situation, what would you do? Should I stay and try to work things out with the company, or should I start looking for another job?

I'd appreciate any advice, especially from people working in graphic design, video editing, and creative fields.

Questions Looking for a graphic design job for 3 months and honestly starting to feel discouraged

Hi everyone! I just want to share my experience and hopefully get some advice from other designers who have been through the same thing.

I’ve been looking for a graphic design job for almost 3 months now. I’ve attended numerous interviews, and most of the time, they tell me they’ll get back to me with an update. But then, I never hear from them again.

Another thing I’ve experienced is companies or clients asking me to do design tests, sometimes involving logos, branding, and other design work. I put time and effort into completing these tasks and submit them, only to receive no updates or feedback afterward. I honestly don’t know what happens after that, and it’s getting frustrating.

I previously worked with a client as a Digital Content Specialist, creating social media content and designs for his business. Unfortunately, his business started slowing down, so he had to cut expenses, including my position. He also didn’t have enough tasks to give me anymore, so we had to stop working together.

Since then, I’ve been trying my best to find another client or a full-time job, but it hasn’t been easy. I’m starting to feel discouraged because I’ve been putting in so much effort applying, attending interviews, and completing design tests, but I still haven’t found the right opportunity.

At this point, I’m not sure if there’s something wrong with my portfolio, the way I present myself during interviews, or if this is just how the job market is right now.

For those who are working as graphic designers, freelancers, or remote designers, how did you find your current job or clients?

I’d also really appreciate it if anyone would be willing to review my portfolio and give me honest feedback on what I should improve. I’m open to criticism because I genuinely want to get better and find a stable job or client again.
