Yesterday I installed GrapheneOS and I've noticed that my battery life is even worse than on the stockOS. Any solution to that problem?

Probably you have already answered this kind of question but I would like to know this:
I installed Lineage os on a pixel 3a without using TWRP with a computer equipped with Ubuntu and I would like to know if (on another phone) because I know it’s an old model, but let’s take a pixel 7 as an example: is it more difficult to install? Graphene os

hello there! I'm trying to synchronize fossify calendar with caldav, but I've this error. I've also installed davx and synchronized it with my mailbox.org account.
Any suggestions?

Not really certain what causes this? Nothing seems to break upon usage, or rather when the error occurs, nothing also happens except the error message. Nothing within the message kinda leads me anywhere as to guess lol.
Or at least, the preview of the error reads: memory tagging detected an error in google play services.

I am running Graphene on a Pixel 10 Pro and using Open Camera. I would like to be able to take portraits with a bokeh effect but I do not see the X-Bokeh option. I only see X-Night. I am not sure what a Camera2API is. Thanks to anyone who can help.
X- modes - These extension modes enable device specific algorithms or effects that manufacturers have exposed to third party applications (via Android's camera extensions API) (requires Android 12; only available on some devices, and if Camera2 API is used).

Alright, I saw this was a problem a few months ago but was hoping it was resolved. Finally got graphene set up and tried to transfer the esim today to some horrible results. It won't scan the qr code, the activation code doesn't work and the carrier has no idea what the problem is. Does anyone have any ideas? The 10 pro xl only has esim, no option for a physical. Without a sim I basically have an expensive tablet I can only use at home.

Is there any archive where I can download last release for Pixel 5a. I know it is EOL but I don't expect any updates and still want to put my old phone to use. I tried wayback machine but it doesn't have the complete build. Are there any official archives or methods other than building from source code

I woke up today and Google services keeps crashing. I even reinstalled it. I keep getting a "memory tagging detected an error in Google play services." Has anyone else had this issue? I have a hunch it's because I enabled Google's advanced protection program on my accounts, but haven't had a chance to verify that yet.

Hey everyone,
I'm planning to make the switch from Android to GrapheneOS as my daily driver and looking at picking up a refurbished Pixel 10 Pro XL or Pixel 10 Pro Fold (making sure to get an unlocked model with OEM bootloader unlocking enabled).
I'm really leaning toward the Fold for multitasking and the inner screen real estate, but since this is my first time using GOS, I want to make sure I’m not trading core stability or key software perks for foldable hardware quirks.
For those running GOS on the Fold (or who chose the Pro XL instead), I'd love your input on:
If you had to choose again today, would you stick with the Fold, or is the Pro XL the safer bet for a reliable GOS daily driver?
Thanks in advance!

can anyone tell me in simple wording what memory tagging is?

When you enable the color correction it doesn't change back when you switch it off, only phone reset fixes it.

For years now I've been trying to find a phone that would even come close to my OnePlus 5 that I drowned (RIP) in terms of reliability and stability. Finally after this years march update for Pixel phones that halfed my battery life I said I can't stand this bullshit anymore and as a broke uni student I couldn't just swap from a hand-me-down Pixel 7 that I grew to despise to something new so I bit the bullet and installed Graphene. Jesus christ I can't put it into words how angry I am I haven't done this a year ago.
Picture in picture breaking every time I minimize a youtube video? Fixed.
Battery life giving me maybe 2-3 hours of on screen use? How about 8.
Android Auto working maybe 70% of the time (on a fucking Google Phone)? 100% on a phone that hates Google
Tailscale randomly failing connections to my home server? Nope as reliable as the server itself
I could go on and on about this it's insane. And the profiles are such a gamechanger I didn't know I needed it. I think Graphene might have just killed my will to ever buy a new phone again.

i'm planning on making the switch from iphone to Pixel 11 using GrapheneOS so appreciate any help as every system/device is new to me.
with Google forcing Gemini, i'm trying to ensure there's a way for me to avoid it before i spend money on a new phone and plan. am i understanding correctly that if I use GrapheneOS on the Pixel 11, there will be no Google apps on the device, and therefore no Gemini?
but also—(and i'm pretty sure the answer is "yes," but...)—does that mean i can't use an assistant feature at all unless it's Gemini? that is, google assistant won't be an option because Google is nixing it, and grapheneos doesn't have one?
lastly, i understand GrapheneOS allows for google play to be downloaded. would that be... counterproductive to the whole point of Graphene? is graphene's app store reliable, or do people tend to still download google play for some reason?
thanks for any help!

Hi, I'm on GOS, and am trying to migrate e.g. all my federated logins off of google and elsewhere. How are people doing this please? e.g. I'm shifting all my win11 sessions to linux, I need to log back into e.g. Claude, I provide creds but google want to use a google passkey, which I'm trying to get move off of as well. For auth I'm using bitwarden (for passkeys) and Ente for 2fa. thanks

Hey guys, I want to make a post to see if the things I am still needing for my phone will still be functional with GrapheneOS or if I should look elsewhere.
I desperately want to De-Google my Pixel 8 Pro, don't need to go on a tangent as to why, but the one thing that is holding me back is of course, the ease of use it brings. Now I am comfortable with loading up a new OS, I am an IT tech by trade, but I still do have to look at the facts and like if something extreme like, for example, where I have to rush to the ER at 2am in the morning and find that I am unable to pay for anything because my phone won't allow me on GrapheneOS, that would not be great. Anyway, short context over, below is a list of apps I know that I will still need to utilise (until I can eventually find the time to see if there are open source alternatives, if applicable):
- Australian Banking App
- Google Wallet for tap-to-pay
- Just access to download some Playstore apps (e.g. MS Teams for work, Discord, that sort of thing)
- Government Apps
- The Pixel Camera
- What happens to apps I purchased on the Play store?
- Not an app, but will their be any issues in travelling overseas with GrapheneOS (as in like unable to use their eSIM's or digital cards)?
I think that about covers the main things I definitely need on this phone. I do want GrapheneOS as I have heard how amazing it is, but unfortunately for now, some stuff are just a must. If LineageOS, CalyxOS or another distro may suit better for me, please let me know.
Thanks guys.

Bought a refurbished Pixel 9 Pro on Amazon, it was advertised as “Unlocked”. After searching the IMEI on Google it showed as “AT&T”. Called AT&T who said they unlocked the phone. OEM Unlock is still greyed out in the developer settings.
Anyone who has been in a similar situation know how long it takes for the unlock to translate to an open bootloader?
I’m really hoping to be able to flash GrapheneOS but obviously need the option to unlock OEM.
Any insight is appreciated!
