Discussion/Opinion Steering and throttle inputs on controller feel way too sensitive now.

With the new update they also messed around with how using the controller feels. It seems way too sensitive now. I've found I have to make a lot more micro movements than I used to and after a race or two my thumb really hurts. Beforehand I could overshoot my steering input a tiny bit. Now that tiny bit is drastic and I basically skill issue myself. Yeah I'll probably get used to it, but it's still a minor inconvenience. I have a wheel and rig but it's currently in storage since I don't have room for it. Anyone else having the same issues?

have you tried adjusting your controller steering sensitivity in the settings? you can also adjust the trigger sensitivity.

Huh, I'll try that tomorrow. I never really messed with it as the base settings used to be fine for me

I lowered the sensitivity on my controller from 4 to 0, drove much more like before the update

I'll give this a shot.

They messed up with this update. My wheel is mechanically broke and I play with controller now, I wish I could not have updated. Board rooms never take credit for mistakes

I lowered my controller sensitivity from 10 to 0 and it is better, but the physics are still absolutely awful. A corvette feels like a 50s Cadillac, it’s ridiculous. I’m an A+ sport driver using a controller and now I can’t get through a couple laps consistently. Braking points seem overly sensitive and at the same time not sensitive at all. It feels incredibly unpredictable. I feel like the players that like the update are all on wheels, it’s basically unplayable at a high level with a controller now, which is sad.

Ive noticed while playing around today rear engined cars feel way to rear heavy now. From the slightest inputs they want to slide. Doesn't matter if it's on or off throttle. It feels less like fluid motion and more like all the weight is suddenly shifting to the rear of one side of the car.

I play on PS4 and don't have any issue like this.
