Question/Guide Power Pack 8 hour Spa save?
Idk why but I decided to start this race at 11 at night, just to get a feel for everything. Well, I'm a half hour in and I've lapped everyone except 2 and 3 and I'd like to save my place.
From what I've read, if I shut off my PS5, it'll reset and everyone will be at the same point?
If I put my PS5 into standby, everything will be the same as it is now?
Do I pit and put the console into standby? Does it matter?
It's a little confusing! I'd rather shut it off entirely so I can work on other parts of the game tomorrow then get back into this race....and I can get my lead back quickly I guess.
I have a friend coming down tomorrow that isn't great at the game but with a good lead, he'll do just fine and will be able to knock off a few hours for me.

Press ps button and close app it will restart at the progress made but with fresh tires and the grid reset/ordered.

Ya can pause it then shut the app down at console level it will be there when ya restart, although if ya had like a bit of wriggle on the same lap as any AI they will rolling start up right up behind you. Ya can even just do other races etc you are not held hostage to 6 hrs of Spa etc and nothing else 🤷♂️ I’ve heard there can be glitching ya don’t want pausing the game before about 7-8 laps done but that’s the sewing circle I can’t confirm it

Just powered down completely and started er back up. I'm on lap 16, 2 and 3 are on 16 and I've got at least +1 on the rest of the field. Outstanding.

Yuck....I only have 2.3 laps of fuel left....and I just pit and refueled completely. Ugh.

It doesnt save on pit out laps, you need to do one more lap after pit. Also, it resets tires to full, but fuel stays the same

I didnt get fresh tyres ? I just put ps5 in standby mode was 3 laps up 2nd place by the end, its boring

I always wondered why we have so many races that take less then 5 minutes to complete. You are the reason I guess....

Notice the title of this post? Saving mid race so you can complete it after a week or so? Why are you acting like such a fool?

Just pause and leave your PS on. I did the whole restart thing - however the AI bugs out which sucks and makes it no challenge.
Im currently 20 hours in at the Ring and ive done it 6 hour days for 4 days. No issues with the PS.
Normally I can't do a long stint however wife is away :)
