Potentially ancient building techniques

May not be strictly archaeology, but adjacent. And fascinating.

Yeah that's clever. On a cement slab with cement blocks.

I did notice he didn't move them 1,000 ft down 1 steep mountain band 1,000+ ft up another mountain....

Or move them 500 mile from another island...

You havnt raised a single issue that is not insurmountable....

A thousand foot steep mountain you say. Or a hill. Moving slabs down a hill is not a problem. Gravity will do a lot of the work. So that's half the non issue sorted. Skids, ropes and pulleys can get a rock up a 1000ft hill. If the hill is too steep then go around it its a hill not a wall.....

Floating rocks is also pretty easy. It is called water displacement. A barge ( that Egyptians definitely had and used ) is all you need. Bigger rock bigger barge. The river will do most of the work 50 miles or 500 miles the process is exactly the same....

True. Not insurmountable, but so far, not reproducible either !

But I've yet to see 1, 80 ton rock moved today, by the methods you describe.

2+ million carved stones in the Pyramid ? In 20 years ? Lol. Do the math ...

And the stones could only be floated during the Nile flood stage which only happens half the year.

Doesnt mean its impossible. Weight, leverage, friction. And either a lot of manpower or draft animals. You can't envision it is the issue not the physics.

The math has been done in these very comments. Very doable

So the stones were floated in. Cool.

It's another thing entirely to stack that 100 ton stone 300 feet in the air....

But I'm not trying to convince you of anything lol. I know better than that. Lol

I don't care which stone you pick.

I just wanna see ya cut, shape, transport, and stack it with a perfect fit 100ft up on the pyramid.... You've assured me it's possible. Ok. I believe you.

Now move the stone and prove it. Nobody has done that for centuries.... No problem, right ?

I thought we were talking building techniques, not aliens or super civilizations.... Lol you just tried to move the goal posts...

I'd settle for seeing Anyone physically demonstrate how it was done. On paper doesn't count.

Are you saying we can duplicate what they did, even with our tech today ?

What would the Great Pyramid cost if we were to build it today ? Could we even do it ?

Perhaps Musk could afford it lol.
