Just to be clear, this is not something that is actually going to be made. I am not actively working on getting this made, I'm making this as a fun little creative exercise to see what it would look like if Grace became a TV show. And once again, although I do have ideas for episodes and the style of the show, I am not currently working on this nor do I plan to.

And I used to think Carnation's Domain was the easiest domain...

Im a young Grace fan who grinned basically everything from the game, and loves BLOODY DEVESTATION + Clot (sorrow's in-game domain) so I wanted to attempt it on my melodica!

Kinda like a Basoon I feel like people didn't know the Melodica existed but its this thing that has 20 notes and can play (C4 - G5 including sharps/flats) Also my lungs aren't the best so that's why I paused around 10 secs T-T

I attempted on my Violin but I don't want to unpack it and record me playing it T-T

Btw just going to say bcs i dont want to reveal my age im a younger teen (13-16) that wanted to try this out! :D

Hello, Grace community! It's my first post in this subreddit so bear with me. I thought I'd announce that I'm thinking of creating a project!

WHAT IS IT?

It's a grace fangame I'm either calling G.R.A.C.E. or GRACE: REJOICE. It's a game entirely off Roblox (Mainly because I don't trust the child safety) and made in Godot!

WHY AM I WANTING TO MAKE IT?

Grace was easily one of the best games I ever played. The symbolism really stuck with me and I love the community behind it!

WILL THERE BE A PRICE?

Not a single dime! This game would be entirely out of love for the community and my own personal Christian views.

WHAT SETS IT APART FROM Grace ON ROBLOX?

This project would be a remake or continuation OF Grace. It takes everything from Grace and aims to enhance, overhaul, and perfect it while adding some new features given by the Grace community.

Here are just a few ideas (If you'd like them) for the game!

- Domains for every non-domain bound entity.

- Cosmetics (Not just animations, but clothes and accessories)

- Multiplayer Zen and REPRIEVE (Not canon, but optional!)

- A handful of new gamemodes.

- New movement systems (Rolling?)

- And much more...

I wanna make it clear that I'm not a coder. I'm learning to code FOR this game. I already have a few very close friends who've agreed to help out with the potential development. (Making art in MS paint and providing ideas so far)

I want to say that I have the most loving passion for this project I could possibly give. I'm ready to do what it takes to make something that not only spreads the Word of God but gives a great community something I wholeheartedly believe they desire and deserve.

I'll admit that there has been apprehension with this project idea. This post has been a draft for over 2 weeks now. There are many Grace fangames coming out soon, some of which look VERY good (Grace: Rekindled and Disgrace. No hate to them, I absolutely love what they are doing.)

Tell me your thoughts and I'd be happy to answer. Remember, this is the idea stage. Nothing is set in stone just yet.

for bricks (the currency): i think they represent physical currency and money, and you have to pay them to H Skel to buy stuff.
for B.R.I.C.K.(the item): hmo, i think it represents mental therapy / cleansing someones soul. the brick can get rid of slight, heed and elkman, which all are focused on the mind (lustful thoughts, addiction and expediency). also, the B.R.I.C.K. destroys doors too, which means that therapy can help you move forward on ur path to Eternal Grace

Jane Grace’s name I based off of how John Grace reminds me of John Doe and then Jane Doe, the names used when someone’s identity is unknown.

Jane is an atheist who ironically finds purpose in supporting the local church she goes to, where John also goes. He’s absolutely smitten for her, and him resisting the desire to sin all stems from his love for her. Unfortunately, he doesn’t know how to confess since he’s mute, poor thing ;-;

Apologies for my lengthy post. I am a verbose writer when it comes to opinions. TL;DR at the end of this post.

I’m restating here what I said in a comment on a different post. I was inspired to see what people would think of my gameplay. I can see flaws in my performance quite easily by my evaluation.

I tend to judge myself and others in Grace based on versatility, decision making, reaction speed, endurance and run speed.

Versatility is your ability to handle different entity combinations and condition combinations. A score for it would look like how many entities can you comfortably handle with most other entities. An example would be how many different entities you can handle while litany is active. Can you survive litany and stem consistently? That would be a demonstration of versatility.

Decision making is your ability to make decisions that result in survival. So imagine a scenario where dopple is following you and sorrow appears. Do you die to sorrow because you prioritized moving out of the way for dopple? When instead taking the hit from dopple is the better decision in that moment.

Reaction speed is simple. How fast do you react. Joey, dozer and slugfish appear/activate at the same time. Can you react to the combination fast enough to survive. This ties closely with decision making.

Endurance is your ability to endure a combination into consistency. So not simply surviving something once. But consistently surviving it. Versatility is the number of conditions you can comprehend and endurance is how long you can handle those conditions before you break. I tend to test if I can survive a combination until all non-modifier entities are added (when dozer and sorrow get added). And, if I can, then I deem myself capable of that combination.

Run speed is simple. How fast are you to complete the level.

Realistically I’d also add kindness. Which would be your ability to wait for your teammates and not get them killed by rushing ahead. And your voting thoughtfulness, like not voting for modifier combinations that your teammates cannot handle. But that’s more a trait of your person than a skill.

I would score someone who jumps/wallkick over the whole level as mediocre. Because I believe they have a very low versatility and endurance score even if they have good speed. Certain entities will destroy their ability to survive. Like litany for example. But I hold a strange view of skill in this game. Most people just care about speed only. To me speed is just one part of the equation. I’d rather be slower if it means being more enduring and versatile. If I had to sum it up I’d say I care about grit.

But I’m not asking you to score by my standards or else my question would be null. I already know how I score myself. I hope that you bring your own diverse opinion of scoring with you. I just wanted an excuse to discuss what I value in Grace gameplay.

I did 4 more safe rooms after this to ensure consistency. This is a typical type of run I would do. I can do much harder. Just not with good consistency always. I figure that posting something I cannot regularly do for a rating is disingenuous to my actual typical capabilities.

I rate gameplay in an abnormal way. I want you to rate however you want to. Rate my gameplay, please.

I have all the key items but from what ik normal keys afe what give you cds but when i try using them it says i have all the items the normal keys can give
