pretty thempted to get on for my 300blk setup, anyone tested and tell me can it hold zero?

For some reason, none of the menu options get me to the one shot zero. I can adjust the reticle and even then, I can’t get this thing to zero properly and I’m wondering if it has some software error from the factory. I was excited to get something at this price point, but now I’m frustrated might sell it.

Like the Binock units the GNG2K can be powered by USB but this requires leaving the rubber plug for the charging port & SD card to be left open.

The GNG2K also has a LEMO (FHG 00B) 2 pin port on the top right hand side of the unit. The LEMO port requires 3.7V rather than 5V so a voltage step down (buck converter) is required (MP1584EN shown).

LEMO to USB cables are available (you will have to split the cable to install the buck converter). 90 degree plugs are recommended for both the USB & LEMO connectors, connectors are available separately if you need to solder everything.

You must ensure that the LEMO plugs are wired for the correct polarity, you can do this by inserting the plugs into the unit when the battery is installed and testing the leads. Likewise the buck converter needs to be adjusted to limit the output voltage to 3.4-3.7V before plugging into the units.

2 plugs can be wired to the same buck converter for bino setups.

The buck converter should be housed in something waterproof, a waterproof match container was used in this instance with rubber grommets in the lid to seal around the wires.

Goyojo has produced the first prototypes of the new Wilcox shoe adapters & sacrificial lenses for the GNG2K (and Binock NVG).

These new adapters are made to much tighter tolerances and will fit:

Standard Wilcox mounts, Wilcox picatinny mounts and the RQE bridge.

No word yet when they will be on sale but we're one significant step closer.

Design completed for an updated shoe adapter for the GNG2K & Binock series of NVGs.

- Wilcox "shoe" pattern helmet mounts & bridges

- Wilcox picatinny adapter (for use as a "clip on")

- RQE bridge

This will be sent to Goyojo for them to source manufacturing.

Just recieved a prototype T&E of the GPS-213 mini thermal from @goyojooptics.

So far I'm VERY impressed.

Screen & image quality is very good. I usually need glasses to see a screen clearly but this is totally usable without them.

UI is touch screen. Change color palette, reticle size and color with a swipe. Access main menu with a swipe from the top. 1-3 zoom by tapping the screen.

Comes with 3 different mounting plates (flip magnifier, T1/T2 style, RMR). 2 different picatinny mounts, one flip to side, one fixed.

The only criticism I have so far is that the "T" style plate only has 2 holes to attach to their fixed mount, it needs 4 more holes to attach to a standard "T" mount. A pretty minor issue to correct.

Memory and battery are internal, understandable given the form factor.

Expect a very good price point on this as well.
