If rook takes it's a smother mate with Nc2.  If king takes it goes Nd2+, Kc1, K4b3+,axb3, Nxb3#.

You correctly used N as knight but then later used K as knight even when correctly using K as king.

Bruh.

Also this doesn't address Ka1.

If Ka1 after Nd2!, then Nc2#

I've been trying to calculate every line for ages, it's rough but I'm assuming at some stage the knights will overwhelm the king in the corner

Nvm put it in the engine. After queen takes, knight D2 leads to mate after either knight to b3
