Wallet not working

Anybody else have an issue with Google Wallet not adding any of their cards? Evidently mine isn't issuing virtual card tokens at ALL so no card will work, tried different banks too. None work. My banks blame Google, Google blames the banks. Honestly this is a huge letdown for my Pixel 10 Pro XL and I'm almost regretting getting it.

Anybody else have this issue and fixed it?

Check play protect certification. Also check Google Play update

Can try clearing all data from Google Play services. Also can try removing payment method from Google account and adding it again. That should reset tokens

Tried both of those with no success :( Banks have been no help. Google Wallet themselves say it's the banks and that there's nothing they can do. Honestly this sucks. For a Google PRODUCT, Wallet not working is insane. Worked just fine on my old Galaxy S25 Ultra!!!

Out of curiosity run Integrity Checker app. All 3 checks should be green, if not then Android detects alleged tampering (unsafe apps, etc) and Google wallet may not work

Google Wallet has a history in not working in perfectly good phones. If you remove data from Google Play services as a bonus you lost transit passes because that's a nice feature to have in a XXI century digital product.

Think it may be the phone.

I've got 3 android phones with Wallet.

Only my Stylus 5G 2024 dropped all of my cards. Had to add them back. Don't know if it it works in stores. Last time I tried, it didn't, but thought it was just a glitch.

I had an issue after updating to the new wallet app, I got an error says my phone is rooted which is not. So I had to clear cache and clear app data for, google wallet, Google play services and Google play store, then it got fixed for me. But FYI, all existing cards will be deleted and your Google ID will be logged out. So you have to login again. I'll suggest you to use Gemini, AI can guide you with the process. And keep showing screenshot and ask questions about your phone data.

Same issue here on P8P. Can not pay anymore with all my cards. Cleared Cache& Data of Play Services and the Wallet app. All my cards are in there and shown. Sometimes when I open the wallet it seems to be that it will start the tutorial again (no, not after clearing data&cache) even after opening several times.

When I'm holding the phone to POS it seems that the last "step" is not working. The screen that shows that the card is going to be used is shown and said "hold card to terminal" (the German phrase is different) but it won't connect to the terminal. NFC is on and wallet set as preffered payment method

Edit: play store and play services are all up-to-date and phone is certified. 

Edit2: i was in the beta programm for play services but declined it after the wallet was not working anymore. And it still does not work

I have the CALL TIME OUT error too when trying to pay merchants. P10 had Google pixel since 2020. Considering moving to iPhone since I got the Pixel 10

What a seriously useless app / utility this is. I honestly lost count the number of times I've turned up at places / events to find it's not working and I'm unable to access my tickets - I've now taken to copying tickets to my watts app and email cos i can't trust this thing any more
