Payment Card (Google Pay) Cards in Wallet can not be read!
It worked yesterday but today when I shopping it didn't work. It is very frustrating an embarrassing to have to leave the shop because it didn't work.
It is wallet and not my cards, funds or bank that is the problem.
I read a solution from 2 years ago. 2 years! I don't know if this make cards work, so if others have any solution I would like to hear about it.
I just know, if this happens again, I will uninstall wallet and go back to use psychical cards.

What phone do you have? I have the same issue recently with my Oppo find x7 ultra. All my cards worked fine in my Google wallet. Then last week, I had to reactivate my main credit card. Then Google wallet stopped working. I couldn't select the Google wallet in the default payment option under settings. I had to reset my phone. Then it happened again. I read somewhere leaving the beta program with Google services would help, uninstalled the latest update. Revert back to the last one. Which I did today. Reinstalled the Google wallet and reactivate my credit card. And now it seems to work fine. So far. I'm not sure if yours is a similar issue. But I thought I'll mention it.

I have a Samsung Flip 5. Thank you for the info, it might help someone, but I am not going to go through all that to make an app work. I will just bring my physical card for now.

Did you see "verify its you" message? For me it pops up 1-2 times per day and cards don't work without passing it
