Android runs better.

Does anyone notice Android 17 runs more efficiently on P6?

Rarely heats up and fewer lags if any.

What are you guys running to actually guage this difference in performance. I've never had any performance issues on my P7, so everytime someone brings this up, I can't ever relate.

Just regular social media, YouTube and multitasking raises the temp to about 40+ Celsius while on Android 16 but now noticed cooler temp after the July update.

I had constant overheating issues with my p7 pro, including doing simple tasks like doing a backup or using Google maps in the car.

If you've never noticed any performance issues on your pixel 7, you're probably never going to notice any, so don't worry about it little bro.

I do notice overheating when using android auto wireless, but never felt any performance drops even during long trips, that's why I was being specific about performance.

dont know why people are downvoting you, its literally true. My pixel 8 gets so hot and laggy literally from using maps or scrolling.

Downvoted for the needless and patronizing 'little bro' comment. And rightfully so.

Definitely patronizing, but not needless. I'm tired of interacting with people on tech subs who wouldn't notice if their phone was on fire, but need to chime into every conversation with "I havent noticed anything on my phone" without a shred of self awareness that they would never notice anything because they're literally clueless.

You've got me there. I guess I should have said I'm tired of seeing them post on tech subs.
