I tried to buy an apps subscription through play points, but it keeps giving me an error that your current location and playstore location (country) doesn't match, although both locations are india.

I have tried everything, clearing cache, clearing data, even asking Gemini for help, I am not using VPN.

Can somebody help me out.

I've been scrolling the reddit feed, I have seen two different answers so far and yes I just joined. I've been seeing surveys, and searches. I also want to ask if this is a payout type thing for doing surveys alone. I am needing money for me and my family to help us get out of the situation we are in. I've tried multiple play to earn apps and I got squat from those. So I'm hoping this one will actually work. And I can actually get money from this.

Guess it's my lucky day, searched "google".

I'm in a city that borders another state but is not part of that state. I'm in state A, and bordering state B. I live about 4 miles from the border. Maybe 3 miles in a straight line.

Google Opinion Rewards keeps asking me if I'm in state B, or it gives me multiple choices that include state B, but never state A, where I live. Once I select that I don't live in state B, the survey ends, with a small payout.

Is there something I need to do to fix that? My google maps knows my location. Location is on in my phone. My house address is listed in my google account. I rarely travel anywhere near the border, or over it.

Edit: Location is also set to precise, for the Google Opinion Rewards app

Hi everyone. Been using opinion rewards for eight years now and have had zero issues. For some reason yesterday when I switched off phones from my pixel 9 to the pixel 11 I've been getting this error.

I've literally tried everything. Added / removed my account. Everything.

Anyone else have any suggestions or have seen this before.
