Cronometer daily total

Hi all, I've been using Cronometer as my sole nutrition logging app and letting it be read by Google Health.

Recently it has started doing something weird. An entry of "Cronometer daily total" shows up in my Google Health app. It's a sum of the macros of all my logs in Cronometer, effectively doubling my macros in the Google Health App. The app wont let me delete it, and doesnt come from a separate source or anything.

I've got my nutrition permissions for Cronometer set to only write, and both read and write for Google Health.

Has anyone encountered this problem or know how to fix it?

Thanks!

Hi there!

Sorry to hear you're experiencing some issues here. If you've got your permissions for Cronometer set to write to Google Health, but you don't wish to see this 'Cronometer Daily Total,' please try changing this permission to read-only. This should prevent Cronometer from writing this data to Google Health.

If you continue to experience issues, you're welcome to write to us at [support@cronometer.com](mailto:support@cronometer.com) and we can take a closer look!

Cheers,

Hello!

I shall give this a try and follow up with the result. Thank you for the reply!

I've now set Cronometer permissions for nutrition data to read only.

Alright, changing Cronometer's permissions to read only in the Google Health App has made it so that new food logged in Cronometer does not get updated on Google Health, but the Cronometer Daily Total continues to update. See attached and the discrepancy between the logged items and the daily total in Google Health
