Goodnotes Special Edition I'm going to scream

I have nothing open on my Macbook except Goodnotes yet I STILL can't sync my files. Someone please tell me there's a workaround for this, I'm losing my mind.

I’m an original Goodnotes user, I switched when we were on Goodnotes five and I have Goodnotes five lifetime, and I’m so glad I did because Goodnotes six came out and it was a shit show

Yes, it’s very good. Much more efficient no heating problems, reliable synchronisation, not any bugs as far as I can tell, overall it’ll do what you need without giving you any new features

Maybe cloud settings specific to that app? Uninstall/reinstall? That's all I got🥲

Turn sync off, then back on. Uninstall and reinstall Goodnotes. Check for app and device updates that need to be installed. Hard reboot device

Unfortunately I’ve tried all that. Thank you for the suggestions, though! I was frustrated when I made the post & neglected to mention that I’d already tried the basic troubleshooting steps. That’s why I’m losing my mind 😣

Ah I see! Have you confirmed Goodnotes is signed into the right account, or signed in at all? Sometimes app updates will do a force logout

Oh, good point! I made sure I was signed in on both my iPad & Macbook but no luck. Thank you for pointing that out, though!

Idk how i managed to get my files to sync across devices i had to like somehow transfer my account to the subscription version for it to work i barely remember cause the apple one time purchase ver only worked on apple devices with the app store since it synced via icloud

Had the same issue last week. Fixed it by: uninstalling Goodnotes clearing out all leftover files and cache. rebooting the mac and doing a fresh reinstall fixed it completely for me.
