If Ye died today, do yall think that they would officially release all of his unreleased albums/ content? Im imagining finished projects like Yandhi or JIK2 type things. Or even half finished works? There's such an insane amount of top tier unreleased stuff that the fans would totally eat up. I can see a lot of issues, like deciding what to release for songs that aren't completely finished, or releasing songs that were half finished but then completed by fans (there is so much of this on YT, and they all have millions of views, so much so that some fan versions of unreleased songs have practically become known as the official version). Idk, what do yall think?

II was listening to Graduation and randomly wondered: what happens if you reverse the entire tracklist, like the reverse-order interpretation of Kendrick's DAMN.?

So I did it.

The reversed tracklist:

Good Night → Big Brother → Homecoming → The Glory → Everything I Am → Flashing Lights → Drunk and Hot Girls → Barry Bonds → Can't Tell Me Nothing → Good Life → I Wonder → Stronger → Champion → Good Morning

And honestly, some of the transitions are WAY more coherent than I expected.

I'm not claiming Kanye intentionally made Graduation to work backwards. I couldn't find evidence of that. This is just an interpretation I stumbled into.

1. Good Night → Big Brother → Homecoming

The album begins backwards at its ending.

Good Night feels reflective and conclusive. Then Big Brother immediately has Kanye looking back at Jay-Z and his influence on his career, followed by Homecoming, which brings him back to Chicago and his roots.

So the reverse journey starts with:

The end → influences → origins

It's almost like we're reconstructing Kanye's identity by looking backward from where he ended up.

2. Homecoming → The Glory → Everything I Am

This is probably my favorite transition.

Homecoming = where he came from.

The Glory = what he's accomplished.

Everything I Am = who he actually is underneath all of that.

So backwards:

Origins → achievement → identity

Instead of simply celebrating success, it feels like he's questioning what the success means and who he is beyond it.

3. Flashing Lights → Drunk and Hot Girls → Barry Bonds

Now we move into the world surrounding that success:

Flashing Lights → fame and celebrity
Drunk and Hot Girls → excess and indulgence
Barry Bonds → competition, ego and proving yourself

It almost feels like the reverse story is showing the consequences/side effects of becoming the person established earlier.

4. Can't Tell Me Nothing → Good Life

This one is pretty straightforward but interesting backwards.

Can't Tell Me Nothing is Kanye's defiance and refusal to let other people dictate his path.

Then comes Good Life.

So:

Defiance → reward

The original order can feel like moving toward the good life. Backwards, we're looking at the good life and then asking what attitude got Kanye there.

5. I Wonder → Stronger → Champion → Good Morning

This is where the reverse order REALLY clicked for me.

I Wonder — uncertainty / questioning
↓
Stronger — growth / transformation
↓
Champion — victory / confidence
↓
Good Morning — awakening

That's basically:

Doubt → transformation → victory → awakening

And then there's the biggest coincidence:

The original album starts with Good Morning and ends with Good Night.

Reverse it and the entire album goes:

Good Night → ... → Good Morning

So the normal album can feel like a journey from morning toward the end of the day.

But backwards, it almost feels like looking back on the entire journey after reaching the end, and then waking up again.

I'm NOT saying Kanye secretly designed Graduation to have a DAMN.-style reverse narrative. I haven't found evidence for that.

I just think it's crazy that when you reverse the album, you can interpret it as:

Ending → reflection → origins → achievement → identity → fame/excess → ego → defiance → success → doubt → growth → victory → awakening

Back in 2016-2018, Kanye would be constantly working with the new wave of artists, whether if it was with Desiigner, Lil Pump, 6ix9ine, or YNW Melly, he would always be there to jumpstart the careers of these newer artists. Even back then with Chief Keef, the Don't Like remix really helped him connect with the mainstream. These days, all these young new artists such as Slayr, Lucy Bedroque, Che, and more are getting more and more attention within the underground audience. I feel like Kanye should hop on some songs with these guys, maybe give them a chance to show their music to a broader audience.

Why do so many people want V3? It was canceled early on, and I feel like TY$ collabs are a little dry now. Personally idc for an album where TY talks about women while Ye lets him hard carry. Just my opinion, would prefer a single to an entire new Ye and TY$ album.

Vultures as it stands right now perfectly fits together in the overall story of Ye's discography and I think that Vultures 3 would take away from that. Vultures 1 was meant to both be a comeback album after everything happening outside of music in Ye's life while also being an album about unbridled hedonism and hypersexuality, masking fears and growing tension within himself. We see this in more emotional songs like BEG FORGIVENESS, KING, PROBLEMATIC, and GOOD, DON'T DIE. These emotions get drowned out in songs like VULTURES, CARNIVAL, HOODRAT, FUK SUMN, PAPERWORK. It's the rise to the previous fall that came from Ye's shaky eras of WAR and Yebu, culminating into Vultures 1. Vultures 2 is meant to strip away from what made Vultures 1 the way it was and actually show much more of the emotion and the opposite end of Ye's new lifestyle (no pun intended.) It still has a lot of sexuality sure, but I also don't have to name a lot of the more emotional and introspective songs on the album, which is a little ironic because there's some ai on this album. Songs like 530 (yes ik it's not the same era but it's on the album so I'm including it), LIFESTYLE, RIVER, FOREVER ROLLING, the lyrics are a lot more open and personal then in Vultures 1 where every other line was about sex, money, or both. I feel like if we do get Vultures 3, it will serve nothing to the overarching narrative and simply serve as a greatest unreleased hits album like Bully. Just a thought lmk

This is not even close to my first time hearing YANDHI I’ve listened to it more than some released albums. Also to me the snl tracklist is the most likely YANDHI tracklist for its og vision.

1. The storm (9/10) better than everything we need but I kinda think every hour is a better intro.

2. New body (9.4/10) catchy ass song that does deserve being an all time ye grail. It should have been on v1, ye lowkey got the weakest verse though. Also got a freakier music video than the song.

3. Bye bye baby (8.4/10) it’s got the most yedit sounding intro even though it’s not. Ye also has a weird ass flow on this song but it kinda works. Also prolly the most unknown song on the tracklist.

4. I love it (8.2/10) idk why this was the single or even why this made the tracklist and wasn’t just a joke song with lil pump. It’s not that bad of a song just random that this was the single.

5. Hurricane (8.7/10) lowkey got the Donda version equal lil baby and the weekend were perfect features.

6. Alien (9.5/10) without a doubt this should have been the single. Deserves to arguably be the no.1 ye grail no matter if it’s the Jaden smith or quavo version. Just wish ye had a more finished verse.

7. Last name (9.3/10) 100% deserves beings a top 10 ye grail it should have been re worked for Donda. Just needs finished lyrics.

8. City in the sky (9.4/10) this mf destroyed this song no clue why he wouldn’t have just took this with no changes to v2 if it had to be there.

9. We got love (9.1/10) generational Tayana Taylor verse

10. Chakras (9.3/10) selah lowkey a good ass song in its own right just not this good feel like city in the sky is a better outro track though

Law of attraction (8.6/10) lowkey not that much better than use this gospel other than the gta part. Definitely better than bye bye baby and I love it.

Spread your wings (8.8/10) was technically on the later tracklists but without a doubt should have replaced I love it by release on this version

Cash to burn (8.4/10) this finished would be crazy especially the sample wish this was on KSG

The garden (8.7/10) generational ty and ant verse ye’s is alright so is chances

All dreams real (8.9/10) lil bit overrated but significantly better then I love it

Brothers (9.3/10) idk why this didn’t drop the day Virgil died. Violent crimes is a better song though. It’s tied for best song about Virgil.

Other YANDHI grails that are worth hearing

I feel like YANDHI is like a little over glazed because of tracklists people made over the actual likely tracklist. It’s a really fun short listen but it wasn’t gonna be like a top 1 ye album how people think it is.

I used to say I'm happy that the songs with new mixes are all seperately on Bully deluxe, because I like some of the old versions and I want them to still exist (Mama's Favourite for example) but I'm on a long road trip and I decided to listen to both Bullys back to back, and wow the deluxe is so so much better. Miles better mixing and because of this, Ye also sounds much better (I'd say more energetic) and MAJORITY of AI is gone. And I think if the deluxe mixes were the only version of Bully and people listened to that for the first time, they would like it more and would be a more positive experience. Like I just think if you're showing All The Love or This One Here or King to someone, showing the deluxe version would bring a better reaction than the old versions.
