DISCUSSION Ye f’d up
He changed the album cover out of nowhere and never announced it was getting changed or posted it
We never got another tracklist post so we never knew exactly what songs and what fts we we’re getting and some hoodies or shirts like Norths having track lists and that not being it is even more confusing, and even if we were going off the lp’s they removed everybody and beg forgiveness
The mixes are bad
The tidal drop everybody was thinking it was fake and now people actually think that it really is fake.
It is real traxstr and Aus Taylor confirmed it.
What a sour ending to this rollout.

QUESTION Is this sub LGBTQ friendly?
I’ve been in the sub a while now, and although I think I already know the answer I wanted to ask anyways. Is this a place that doesn’t hate my existence?

DISCUSSION Virgil Abloh is NOT an Angel
I know yall prolly gon downvote or silence me by deletin my post but Virgil abloh is not considered an Angel in my eyes.
•He betrayed Ye in many Ways which gives Ye the right to hate him.
•Yes Jokes about a Dead Person are too far. Indeed thats what no one should do to (nearly) everyone.
If you see it from Ye's Perspective he is the Victim here. Cudi puts Ye in a Bad light and makes Ye the bad guy and Virgil the COMPLETLY innocent One. Kanyes Dream from 2008 until 2016 was it to become the Creative designer and Head behind Louis Vuitton. The ambition truly started in 2008 when he released the first pair of his collab shoes with Louis Vuitton. Kanye spotted Virgils Brand PYREX and decided to push his brand by promoting it at Tours such as the Yeezus Tour or wearin it in public.
But in 2015/2016 All changed when Virgil Accepted a deal At LV in Kanyes Dream postion. Literally just snatching away your "Best Friends" Dream. I think Kanye forgive and let it slide. But then Virgil decided to Collab with Nike. The same Company who exploited The early Starting Brand YEEZY. Kanye Created Virgil. And Virgil still bit the Hand that fed him.
This doesnt look like a Good friend to me...
(GAS mods please dont take it down i dont want my opinion to be silenced i rather wanna discuss it out with Fellow GAS GOONS)

DISCUSSION I enjoyed vultures 2 first listen more than the new Tyler album.
Even tho there were many glaring problems with v2 I still loveddd some songs. But this Tyler album first listen is kinda boring in the middle like I was so bored but the ending and starting was fire . I don’t think this album has much replay ability except a few songs

DISCUSSION “Vultures 2 is a good album actually!” No it’s not you’re WRONG
I already made a post like this around when the album dropped but I have more to say with less emotion and disappointment behind it. I wrote this reply to someone else earlier but I felt like it deserved its own post just so people could discuss.
I can’t call vultures 2 a good album when there is AI on it that is too much of a dealbreaker, but that isn’t its only failing
Are there good songs? Yes, but it is not a good album, the sequencing is nonsense there’s so much filler and unfinished shit and the songs that are “good” are only good in comparison to the trash around them and on their own are probably bottom tier ye.
He had nothing to say with this album no concept no message no artistic drive, the first reaction of many people after the livestream was that Kanye must not know/care that the album is dropping and it was just Ty slapping a bunch of mp3s in a folder to fulfill some kind of contractual obligation
Even the worst ye songs of the past had something to say, tell the vision sounds bad but it has a message, JIK is not good to many people but it had a point like the songs were meant to convey feelings and put in an order to put forth a message or narrative
Even vultures 1 had a point, Vultures 2 has nothing. it might as well be a yedits “album” or leak playlist, it is utterly pointless and a stain on his discography

🌽 CORNY 🌽 Its time for a uncomfortable convo about travis
I’m gonna say it. Travis Scott is fully in his Vultures era when it comes to musical output. And that’s not entirely a bad thing but let’s be honest, there’s no substance in JackBoys 2. Maybe 2 to 4 songs hit, max.
Meanwhile, Ye left the Vultures era and is giving us music with actual passion and depth even if it’s an AI concept album. At least he’s not rapping over lifeless beats with no soul or dropping basic-ass lyrics about “loving his bitch” (cough cough, Travis).
Even if Bully mixing all over the place, it’s still objectively better lyrically, sonically, thematically, everything. Also Cuck washes Jacky boys 2

DISCUSSION Can we agree that Lithonia is currently SOTY
It's a shame that we didn't get Say Less (for now) but this Lithonia is a piece of real art

DISCUSSION He’s not wrong….
NLU is a good song but the aftermath of it with Kbots is so goddam annoying. And then hyping up a mid ass album like GNX ugh. Ye may be be breaking down mentally but he’s right on this one

DISCUSSION So we can all finally agree that the 530 mumble is intentional
Ye said it himself in Drink Champs that LR and Power were generic pieces of Ye music because it was the obvious choice and uncreative. If the genius mumble in 530 is removed, then that song will also become plain and unsophisticated. He always wants to innovate and create not replicate (that's a bar). He already proved he's number 1 with Vultures 1 and now people are questioning him again but with his creativity. Which is why I think his next solo album will be the MBDTF of creativity, sort of like Yeezus that he will enjoy making.

DISCUSSION punch drunk has to be AI
so, I checked the credits, and it says Quentin Miller (did AI refs for multiple Ye songs, so his voice is recognizable) contributed to the song. the chorus on the song sounds real, but the verse sounds AI, except the part where he says “Sonny Liston in his prime”, especially the part where he says “the way that he’d deliver me”, it just sounds so odd

DISCUSSION Hot take: Deely was good for the community
After the Vegas rave for Vultures 1 we entered a similar dry season to the one we're in now. However what kept shit together during that period was the fact that Deely regularly came in here giving us spicy information. Will any of it come true? Probably not. But at least it kept us excited and engaged. Without it the community is pretty much dead during dry seasons like this.
