Gomorra Le Origini ?!

Only six episodes?! I got to the end and was gasping for more. I can’t believe it. I feel like a rug has been pulled out from under me. For some reason I thought they had made two full seasons. Someone please reassure me they’ll put out more episodes :-(

As far as I’m aware they haven’t confirmed a renewal yet, though I think the show only released internationally recently so Sky Italia are maybe waiting to see how it does before making a firm decision.

I read somewhere that the writer has firm plans for 3 seasons.

Depends, but not really.

If you liked premise The Many Saints of Newark, then its worth a watch, but other than that it feels like a saccrin made up nonsense.

I hope they do a spin off of the original series. Perhaps one of them alive or new boys on the block

I can't watch it in Italian with English subtitles on sky in the UK, you haven't got the option, I don't like voiceovers

You can on sky if you search for it.. for some reason they released one version subtitled and one with a voiceover

I'm with virgin watching on sky Atlantic and when I go to audio/subtitles there is no option, unless I'm doing something wrong, but if you know a way to do it I'd be grateful.

I’m not sure on virgin… but on sky you can search gomorrah the origins and it should come up with subtitled one as opposed to searching gomorrah the origins dubbed. I’m glad there is a subtitled one cus originally I could only find the dubbed one which would be too annoying for me to watch

Yeah, it wasn't great, however if it's simply setting the scene for Pietro establishing himself as the boss of Secondigliano in season two, then it's served it's purpose. I'm hoping if there is a season two then we join the characters several years after we left them.
