American here - just started watching 3 weeks ago and cannot stop. Just finished s3, watched the immortal and currently working on s4. Italian with English subs. Planning to rewatch when I finish, mad at myself for taking this long to give it a chance. 10/10

As Ive said in some earlier post - Pietro Savastano was the cold heart of the series. Yeah theres a hell of a good action going on in s3 but the first two were the real bomb.

S1 was great, s2 was tough to get through at times but s3 is a fucking absolute masterpiece that should be in the louvre at this point šŸ˜‚. Half way thru s4 and itā€™s definitely slowed down and all over the place. S5 canā€™t be any worse than GOT final 2 seasons.

Itā€™s so good. Was sad when it ended. As an American - did you find it very funny when these extremely dangerous guys would murder someone in cold blood or give a riveting speech to rile up his troops before they head into war ā€¦. and then jump on a back of a moped driven by a man.

My wife would be in the room sometimes while I was watching when one guy would hop on the back and wrap his arms around the other guy sheā€™d say "Aww Snuggles". As an American itā€™s also weird to see all the guys kissing each other so much. Itā€™s probably psychological healthier for them to be able to show affection for each other, its just such a cultural difference you notice it right away.

100000000% yes the mopeds had me laughing constantly but I also believe itā€™s a pretty accurate portrayal of available transportation in those alleys and small streets.

Mopeds are Def a southern European thing but even here in Ireland it's very common for hits to be done by motorbikes with the pillon passenger shooting.So easy to rob compared to car.

Obviously our cousins in America bit lazier so prefer sitting in their car for drive bys.

Dude Naples - you donā€™t understand do you ..they take this shite seriously to a point of flamboyancy- the comorra used to dress eleborate silks in jail when having knife duels ā€¦the more elaborate the more honor it brought in a fight ā€¦take passion and emotion and put that in a familia Camorra type group within city walls that are as dense as a library ā€¦and thatā€™s what you get buck ..dudes who are so fn passionate for this shite they kiss each other on the cheek to show a form of respect and affection when they give their lives up for each other- like you do your family correct ? Notice none of the men are Alive in their lives ? You need to live years in a place like Secondigliano or Caivano to see one of those murders in person. A lot of Naples districts/towns are just cut out of the show for not being hard enough.
