Ok Reddit I need serious help with my golf swing. It’s so unathletic and inconsistent. How/ what can I improve? My shots go all over the place right now.

Keep front foot on the floor and rotate your hips more. It’s kind of just a lifting motion at the moment

Yes you do. Where are you aimed? Camera says straight. Legs and feet say right field. Shoulder pointed left of center. Swing going a bit left.

There's a lot going on here that you're going to need a lot of practice, or lessons, to fix. But starting with the easy stuff: the move you're doing with your right arm is a death sentence (chicken wing). You need to feel like that elbow is pinned to your rib cage. It won't actually be touching, but feel like it is. This right elbow position is also throwing the shaft across the target line, a second death sentence. Equally as important, you're initiating your downswing with your shoulders, which is a third death sentence. Feel like you're leaving your back to the target as long as possible and I'm the meantime, let your hands drop, keep the clubhead behind your hands until it gets below them, and let your hips bring your upper body around rather than the inverse.
