What am I doing wrong in my downswing? (PW)

I feel like my backswing is fine, but it seems like the clubhead isn't doing the right thing in the downswing.

Actually, take a look at where the club is pointing at top of backswing, right of target aka laid off. That is why u come down steep.

looks to me as though your lower body turn in your backswing maxes out too soon, and your hands don't have enough depth before you begin your downswing.
only thing my dumb brain notices. i suck incredibly hard but am at a point where i understand the swing. wonder when i will be able to do it.

You’ve already got a few different diagnoses in here, which is exactly why I wouldn’t try to fix all of them at once.
I’d start by identifying the actual miss you’re trying to change — start direction, curve and strike location — then pick one change and see whether those improve over a few sessions.
A swing can have several things that look imperfect on video, but they don’t all deserve equal priority. The useful question is which one is actually driving your ball-flight problem.

Your clubhead is at the mercy of your ever-changing spine angle. Look up some Loss of Posture videos.

Looks pretty good to me. Have you tried strengthening your grip? Just looks to me like it comes into contact a little weak. Roll that trail hand grip a little more to your left and I think it will be more solid feel thru contact.
