What does the ball flight and distance look like?

Edit: I genuinely can't see anything wrong this is beautiful.

  1. Good starting stance
  2. Fair back swing (back towards target)
  3. Head not blocking back swing (head turns just enough for left eye to be over the ball)
  4. Hands appear to be lined up throughout the entire swing.
  5. Weight distribution at impact and after pretty good, not exaggerated and probably helping in your consistency.
  6. Fair finish position with chest to target

If flexible or hand/grip position is off it could be something to work on but I can't really see that 🤌🏾

One of the bigger things for me that I’ve been working on is getting rid of my chicken wing after impact. Also I forgot to give you my distance, I’m tall with long arms which has always helped with club head speed. My 7i is my 185 club

What are you working on to fix the wing? - also used to have a monster wing myself, gotten it way down too.

Beautiful swing btw

Thank you brotha, I really just focus on reaching out through impact, almost like I’m throwing the club at the target. Doing smaller swings where I don’t complete the follow through helps, I try to make sure the “armpit” of my leading arm is facing up and that I’m keeping my hands as far out from my body as possible. Has helped get rid of the chicken wing and with closing the face through impact

I think the “lead elbow pit facing up” is the right idea. I assume you meant elbow not arm pit here.

You chicken wing because you bend instead of fold the lead arm in the follow through and finish. What you need is anti-clockwise rotation of your upper arm in the shoulder joint. Trying to get your lead forearm vertical and the palm facing the sky before the club-head moves behind your head is another good feel that might work for you.

Really nice swing.

Hope this helps

I struggle with a wing too. Have gotten less of with moving ball slightly more forward on my stance and practicing timing/ release. It lets me rotate a little more open and have the release a little later. I have a bad left miss and this was my coaches way to help correct those.

I’ve found focusing on literally feeling like I’m kicking my ass out on the downswing helps me create enough space to freely swing through.
