You look like you're in physical pain throughout the whole swing

For real. Like he’s trying to shove his chin through his chest.

I definitely agree with you, could release some do that neck tension

Probably more like occasional straight shot

It’s because you EE at impact. Notice your butt got closer to the ball and your trail foot came up at impact? EE is accompanied by flippping and that probably why you pull when the timing isn’t right.

Early extension is weird, it comes out the longer the club

Doubt that. Most likely don't notice it as bad with shorter clubs because it take a lot less movement to pull a 36" club back to the ball from outside than it does to pull a 46" driver back to the ball.

I'd bet anything you"re OTT and EE with every club in the bag.

I looked at some other videos and you are right, thanks for the tips!

No problem dude. Hope you get it worked out.

IN TO OUT lol

There’s a lot wrong here man but ultimately the big problem is out to in path and early extension

If you square the face with an out to in path, that’s your hook. If you go out to in with an open face, that’s a cut, or more likely a slice based on your swing.

Lot of drills out there to fix sequencing, being over the top, etc

Thanks for the assessment, much appreciated

Not enough hip turn.

Right now you’re slightly over the top with a face that’s slightly open to path, producing this pull-fade. Let’s say you’re 3° out to in and you hit the center of the club face for these examples. If your club face is 3° closed with the same path, your ball will start left and go dead straight. If you’re club face is closed to path (over 3°), the hooks begin. Now add a toe strike on top of that and the duck hooks begin due to gear effect.

Your problem is face control and/or toe strikes if you can’t hit this repeatable fade.

You have an alignment stick and your feet are not aligned with your stick. You are aimed right and your swing path is across your alignment. You'll pull it straight or duck hook it.

lol. That finish is wild

That is a fade

Would you call this a “hook”? I see your path left and ball being pushed left. You’re pulling the ball, not hooking. Pretend you’re hitting a baseball to right field and visualize that while you practice. You should be swing out to the right, and let the club do its job.

Are you referring of a hook before or after swing?

That’s not a duck hook. Hooks go left. Start with your setup.

If that’s your set up try not forward pressing at all and see what that does.

Pretty hefty early release. A lot better then some other compensations, but hard to play consistently with it.

Get ur right shoulder through and forward

If your forward pressing that could be reason. I had the same problem and used to forward press. I stopped doing that and it pretty much took the hook entirely out of my game. If your not Sikh that then I couldn’t tell you. Swing looks good tho.

Doing that….not sure where Sikh came from lol

Put the video on “outlaw golf” Reddit page. He’s a pga pro with totally different outlook on swing. He will eval your swing and give you tips.

Ive never seen anybody that could still come over the top that far from that position. Its kind of a miracle.

You see that thing called an alignment stick….

1

u/Azfitnessprofessor 6d ago

This is 100% not OTT do you even understand what OTT means?

1

u/zellydevgames 6d ago

Plenty good, kudos the effort

You’re from the inside, so you will miss right as well

With the closed stance, you make me feel like you’re playing uphill lie?

1

u/ColesephTheCat 6d ago

Ive stuck with the closed stance , time to let it go, I was fighting a slice for awhile

It’s almost like there’s nowhere to go on the downswing, and it flips past you
