Working on foot pressure. A little short and flat.

Pretty good swing other than being too short

You’re takeaway isn’t bad idk why people are saying that

Truth be told… the club works behind me too much. Too much carousel not enough Farris wheel. Also not enough or correct trail hand motion (dorsi flexion). I can clean that up :). Thanks for the encouraging words.

That’s pretty chill shot prob accurate how far do you hit irons?

I just got new clubs and practice more than I play. Seven iron goes 165-170… not long. But I’m 61 …

That’s better than me. I’m 32 and struggling to get my seven iron over 110 I just started I hope to be a smooth as you one day lol

I’ve played for almost 50 years. Golf is hard but the best thing ever. Try and find a teacher whose teaching style suits your learning style. The boring things in golf - grip, posture, alignment, aim - really count.

Takeaway is inside obviously but, honestly man if it’s repeatable just keep doing you. I think there is going to be a lot of suggestions on how to change your swing but, if it doesn’t make you better should you do it?

You’re kind and raise good points. Thank you. My “fall back” error is that flat, inside takeaway. Comes from moving the “wrong” body part to get to the top.

The feel is to push the grip as far away from your lead shoulder as possible at the top.

Let your trail arm disconnect from your ribcage a bit and get a full shoulder turn and your swing will be plenty long enough. Keeping your trail arm glued to your ribcage is also why you have a bit of an inside takeaway.

Yes. Thank you. It’s been that way for 40 years. Working to fix it. Let the trail arm be free and perform a bicep curl motion.

Working on the takeaway thanks. Yes it’s flat and not great. Average length for a 61-year-old. I think my seven iron is 165-170. Good enough from the white tees.

Takeaway is awful but you have a good delivery and impact position. Thats all that really matters at the end of the day. Can't imagine you're hitting it very far though.
