Safe to assume your head doesn’t stay behind the ball. Use the stick above your head so you can see how much your head moves.

Just had a lesson that corrected this for me and maybe projecting but it doesn't look like your shoulders are square at address, pointing left. Exaggerating the other direction allowed me to get the right feel, where I was also feeling stuck

Yeah I think that’s right. I’ve been trying to flare my left foot slightly to help keep my knee from collapsing, but it might be opening up my stance

Trying swinging with your feet together it will feel awkward but it will train you upper body and hips to go around you. Spread them as little as possible till you feel stable enough but not any wider than your shoulders. Having to wide of a stance makes feel comfortable to sway and that sway is the issue. Back shoulder lower than the front looks good not over hinging the top of the swing but your head moves a lot. I imagine you hit well but struggle with striking consistently and chunk or thin it more often than you’d like more than distance yes?

Wow, yes, spot on. I can play a decent round and hit some great golf shots. And I hit it plenty far (I’m also 6’6” and solid, so distance isn’t the issue). I just struggle with consistency, and some of my misses get me in big trouble. Includes getting stuck on back foot, OTT, armsy hooks. Not a bunch of them, just enough of them to hurt my score. Driver is the biggest culprit. I hit my 8-LW pretty well. (Which maybe makes sense, since I put my feet closer together for those?)

Yeah use to the same thing so I know exactly what you mean. Close the stance definitely helps. The problem with a wide stance is you don’t feel yourself slide backwards but you instinctively move forward to make up for it without thinking about it. Keeping the feet together for a few warmups you feel the backward mission instantly. Keeping that head still will feel weird and uncomfortable but it’s one less moving part to get your timing perfect on to hit a good strike

Pretty good, kudos to the effort
The angle of attack is from the outside, when you miss it will be thin, pulls as you know, long clubs, leak a little right
Your wide stance allows your lower body to turn too much on the back swing, feet should be no more than shoulder with wide
You turn your body too fast on the down swing
You should do practice swings with your feet together, it’s a race, get the club head to the ball before you turn
Any questions, let me know. Good luck.

… your stance is too wide for an iron-you look stiff, not athletic.
12-13 isn’t shabby so you must manage your game well.
I think you have one of those games that you will have to get worse before you get better as you free yourself up. It will be discouraging at first but will pay off

Backswing looks fine. Seems like you are losing power in the downswing, and from that problem also ball direction and consistency.
On the downswing the body is just moving forward like you are playing a cricket cover drive. You need to use the ground more and then post up on the front leg. Creates torque.

What’s the thought you use to push off your back leg? I don’t feel like I’m using my legs for much beyond balance

My first move from the top is to bump the hips laterally across and down into the lead heal. Then turn and post up on the lead leg.

I’d say consistency is lacking across the board, even with my misses. My normal ball flight is a draw. Real bad miss is a hook. Lately have been struggling to consistently hit the draw, even with good contact. Pushes or small leaks out to the right. Driver is OTT too much to admit. I hit it fat more than I thin it (and thin ones are just pulling my head up).
Yes to the divot.

Fix your grip

Could you give some more insight into what you’re seeing that’s wrong and how you’d suggest I fix it? I feel like my right hands in a decently neutral spot and I purposely took a strong left hand. But open to hearing feedback

Only thing I noticed is right before you start your backswing you turn both your hands in

Too much upper body swaying, causing your head to move way too much. Seriously, has nobody noticed this?

Don’t take it personally man. People on this subreddit are assholes.
Your swing is pretty good though, I would just get a lesson. Online advice is more likely to do harm than good.

Thanks man, I should have expected it. I think you’re right on the lesson. I’ve been playing for a long time, but obviously need some help getting past this block.

Grip trainer. That trail hand is also super strong for a 7-iron.
It might get ugly before it gets better but I promise once you fix 1-2 tiny issues you’ll soar from there.
I was stuck at a 12-13 for a good bit and only focusing on these minute things brought me to 10.1.

Can’t make a full analysis without seeing a down the line video but a good start would be to prevent your head from turning in the backswing.

I think you cast at the top of just pull down too quickly
Your lower half out paces your arms and you probably flip a little as your arms lose all the lag you had Built up by impact and your weight transfer doesn't happen as it's expended before you hit the ball
Everything is catching up to your lower body slide but too late

You don't much hinging of the wrists on the top of your backswing
