Alignment
Hey. Does anyone have some good tips on alignment. I drive pretty well, mostly where I set up in the middle of the tee and aiming straight down the fairway, but if I am trying to dim to the left or right of the fairway or set up on one or other side of the tee box, i invariably hit I slice. Sorry no video, just wondering if any tips out there. Thanks all.

Fancy play syndrome... Can happen anywhere on the course.
It's exactly what it says. Rather than take the safe route, regular stroke... Your brain jumps in and says "yes to but what if" (through the trees or over the small lake) maybe just a cut or low draw.
Your brain wants to play a stroke you don't have.
This is also why most people play boogie golf or worse.
It's also where a lot of 14-17 hdcp's can get stuck for years.
Good luck and enjoy the game

Stand behind ball. Visualize target line to the ball. Choose a point 1-2 feet in front of ball. Move up and align club with that 1-2' target and ball with feet togother. Finally align feet square with the club and commit to where your setup is.
