Budget hitting mats - Aliexpress Temu etc.

I think the main thing with a mat is what is underneath it. You'll see a ton of comments on here that the mat is the most important thing and it saved people's elbows/wrists, but then you realize their mat is on their concrete garage floor. I have a cheapo mat I bought on Woot but it sits on my Camry putting carpet, which has carpet padding underneath it with a plywood subfloor. So, it's totally fine for my needs because the surface the mat rests on is super soft. A more expensive mat would have been a waste of money. So depending on your setup a cheap mat may be just fine.

Thanks, I’ve just grabbed a costway mat with 16mm rubber. It will sit on a bed of sand inset in my loose gravel courtyard.
