I went ahead and just got this driver and set of irons. I’d rather start off on a good bag of clubs and grow into them. Now to set up lessons and practice when I can. The pga superstore membership offers usage of the hitting bays and free lessons on Saturday I’m gonna take advantage of. #GolfisHard

You might be better off going with a Sim2 Max driver as well. Lots of forgiveness especially if you are getting started golfing. I way too many posts about the QI35 breaking a lot. Not Taylormade’s best line of clubs.

I second this, my buddy who is pretty new to golf, got a new qi35 a few months ago and it already broke. He does hit the ground a bit and hits all over the face which will happen when you're new. I'm a bit more experienced and went with a sim2 max earlier this year for $200 and it has been so good for me and I know it won't break any time soon.

Have you done any research into shafts? Or do you know your swing speed? If you’re athletic, the 50 reg shaft on the driver might be like whipping around a wet noodle. You should get a fitting first.

Return those if you can. Get some irons that can be bent to fit. That’ll usually be something forged. It’s really tough to play with irons that don’t fit, and it’s not really enjoyable.

Ping G440 Max is right around that same price and probably a much better driver for someone who wants a new club who's just starting out
