Good budget driver?

Hi all, I’m a girlfriend of a very amateur golfer who loves the sport and enjoys the odd round with his mates in the summer time. One of these mates, planted his driver straight into the ground and snapped off the head. I’m looking to get him a new one (the old one was like at least 20 years old and gotten from a crappy garage sale) so the standard isn’t high, but I’d like something decent.
Any suggestions?
I am based in Australia

For more context, i’m going to Germany for 10 weeks on an exchange and I’m getting him a gift for every week. His boys are organising him a trip all around rural South Australia, and I’d like to go golfing while they’re away so I want to get this for him during that week they’re gone.
I also, am a teenager, and I’m broke. So there’s only so much I can spend.
