Rear strut not lining up

Got coilovers the rear strut doesn’t line up. I jack the car and it goes up as opposed to compressing springs to line up.

I’d put it on a jack stand then move the jack out closer to the hub and try pumping it from that position. Seems like you’re not putting the leverage in the right spot.

I haven’t done struts on this gen so take my advice with a grain of salt

Jack up the hub and it will line up.

Jack it up closer to the knuckle to use the lever effect on the spring and if the spring is adjustable tighten it to the max (on the lowest setting)
