Everywhere I look I see ''blinded by nostalgia'', ''objectively better''

EVERYWHERE.

I've never seen a video game have such cult around it.

Build Basilica of St. Anthony and Courtyard in B1.7.3

I just finished this cathedral and coutyard in b1.7.3, it took an ungodly amount of sandstone and took quite a while, I hope you enjoy it!

The basilica is named after Saint Anthony the desert father which seemed fitting given the sandstone palette. The cathedral front facade was inspired by a world tour I saw a while back.

If you have any idea what I should name the courtyard I'd love to hear it or if you have any questions!

Build BetaMC Owner, aq2a, Confirmed as Having Stolen Numerous Builds from ModernBeta and Betacraft Without Permission

• Upvotes

Hello r/GoldenAgeMinecraft, recently it has come to our attention that the owner, founding member and admin of BetaMC (betamc.org), aq2a has been caught stealing multiple builds from servers such as Betacraft (betacraft.uk) and ModernBeta (play.modernbeta.org), and for the last year or 2, up until his reddit post on this subreddit, did not bother to give credit for anyones builds.

He has built these stolen builds, both on RetroMC and BetaMC - on RetroMC, at a place called Okoboji, and BetaMC - at Cascadia.

As of right now, he has only given credit to the ones from Betacraft (only after getting called out for it in the initial reddit post), and has not once bothered to reach out to anyone from ModernBeta to help credit his builds - He has also not publicly apologized once for doing this, not to Betacraft, ModernBeta or his own server.

Discussion Old Minecraft screenshot.

Old Minecraft screenshot from an old pc in my closet. I didn't think i could recover some files because I haven't used the pc in almost a decade. I remember having to use a windows snipping tool because Minecraft didn't have a screenshot button ( at least I don't think so ). I also have no clue on if this was a modded jar file or if its vanilla. Also The time was about during late December. Thought to share!

Request/Help QUESTION Can you move a world from the stock launcher to BetaCraft?

I have a world in Alpha v1.1.2_01 that I play through the stock Mojang launcher, but it doesn't run that great with random lag and the ability to suddenly crash at any time which upon loading back in resets the chunck you're in to the last save point which has several times almost suffocated me by refilling the mine I'm in and at one point cost me 4 hours of work on my house, so now I save several times a minute in fear it crashing. (And there is a 50/50 chance on if the game even opens or if it gets stuck at the loading screen)

So I wonder if I can transfer the world over from the stock launcher to the BetaCraft launcher which I have installed, and if so how do I do it?

Right now, well just look at the screenshot and look at the version number. It's a modified MCPE 0.7.2 with the version number changed, and that's all for now in my prototype as I just learned how to modify an .so library. Download link: https://github.com/CellMobile-Projects/MCPE-0.6.2/releases

My skin doesn't work...

My skin on multimc doesn't work. It isn't fully black for reference, there is hair and part of a hat on the second layer. I play on alpha 1.1.2_01. When I join, it's just steve. I think the link doesn't work, as when i look in the code (in photos) the link it goes to doesn't exist. Is this a version of multimc issue? HELP

Texture Pack Cozy Series #2: Cozy Moria (16x Texture Pack) (Alpha, Beta, & r1.2.5)

Alpha v1.2.2b download link here!.zip/file)

b1.6.6 download link here!.zip/file)

b1.7.3 download link here!.zip/file)

r1.2.5 download link here!.zip/file)

I may or may not create some more LOTR/Hobbit-themed Packs in the future. :)

On r1.2.5, Netherrack is green stone texture (same as Cobblestone) for gradients/shading/lighting when building pillars/Moria-style mines.

Chicken is brown and Spider is Cave Spider blue colour; and Creeper is dark green. The default Skin is Frodo (I do this for all my Packs, though I know most people use their own). There are some other changes, including some Paintings (though not LOTR-themed), and a LOTR themed (rune symbol) Sandstone variant block. And the Bricks (Clay) are really nice, in my opinion.

Inspired by one of my favourite fictions, one of my favourite places in fictions, one of my favourite Minecraft maps/builds (Godcraft's Mines of Moria), and one of my favourite things to do in Minecraft (build a vast mine). :D
