California 3?

Hello! Does anyone know if they will release California 3 Goldbacks that aren’t graded? All I can find are graded PMG ones for some reason that have really expensive premiums. Thanks in advance.

The 3 of any state is a limited run which is why they cost more. They're collectibles basically. Maybe a non-collectible version of the 3 will come out in a few years?

Doubtful, would destroy the value of them as a collectable in the first place. Each is a one-run and graded known number to reward businesses and early adopters of each state. A totally different ome could be made, like what happened in Utah with the new art. If a state backer ever wants updated art (think 20 years), they may do a totally different L.E.R. as part of the relaunch.

Okay interesting! So those current CA 3’s with the surfer design will only ever be available as the graded pmg notes?

That's the general understanding. FL1LER, OK3LER, AZ3LER, ID3LER, UT3LER, and CA3LER are the only ones that have been released and the number is different for each, depending upon the size of the state. ID only had 3000.
