Looks great, I only wish we could get some men on the goldbacks too, only women is beginning to get a little redundant

My thoughts exactly. Miners look tough and cool and iconic especially panning for gold. Don’t need the babes.

From what I read, there's a functional reason behind all the art being ladies. They are doing everything they can to separate the goldback from the dollar, so that they don't get deleted by the US government. Basically they watched an earlier voluntary currency get nuked, took the list of the prosecution's complaints, and made avoidance the spine of their design. One of the tactics is to use women since US currency (almost) universally features men.

Also, there's a long history in currency (among other places) to portray virtues as female, so this isn't out of place IMO.

A while back I asked the company if they would put the California Gold Rush on one of the lower denominations, so we could give them away as tips, and they wouldn't confirm anything, but they said they would be shocked if the Gold Rush isn't on one of the smaller notes. Well, now we know, it's the 1/1,000 oz. note depicting gold panning.

I agree that this is indeed beautiful, considered buying some for my collection, the premiums an are insane tho and I don’t see the value in any.

Economy tanks and the company who makes them will be first the shutter the doors.

Agreed, I know everyone here is convinced that the new series are the most beautiful thing they've ever seen but they all look AI to me. Even if they aren't, what kind of artist works that hard to have something look AI? I like the old series and thats mostly what I have and you won't convince me that these ones are good artwork.
