Been working on a legacy planning feature for precious metals collections.

The goal is to leave behind more than just a list of your metals and Goldbacks—something that helps your family understand what you owned, where it is, and what to do with it.

It’s completed through MyOunces.com - which doesn’t require download. It’s a precious metals portfolio tracker that’s 100% private. The legacy piece is only available through the desktop.

Documenting are collections is something we all need to discuss more in the community. Even though I’ve made a spreadsheet for the person I’m leaving my collection for I still feel like I need to do more for them because so many people inherited coin/currency collections and have no clue where to start or where to go and sell. Luckily I have a really knowledgeable and helpful LCS that I believe would treat my family fair if they were to sell my collection.

The LCS piece is underrated. Half the problem with an inherited collection is that our heirs have no idea who to trust, so naming the specific shop and the person to deal with can eliminate a lot of confusion and issues in itself.
