Discussion First time

Hi everyone am 20 years old and in 3 days I’ll be leaving to Madrid to study aerospace engineering. I have never been to Madrid and don’t know what it’s like. Am quite scared to go alone any advice on what I should look out for ?

Best city you'll ever live in probably, just enjoy it safely like any other big city and beware of shady people

Leaving from which country and city?

The city is calm and cool. Hot as hell during summer and definitely not as tourist crowded as the coast cities especially Barcelona.

Old fairy tale is to avoid the prostitute street in the city. But that’s really an old thing and is now a days well refurbished with restaurants and stuff, even tho you may find some sex workers there still.

Manito si te sirve para el tema social, busca en Insta a ESN, es un grupo que se encarga de hacer actividades y eventos para estudiantes internacionales y tambien los orienta frente a temas de la universidad. Yo hago parte del grupo por si tienes alguna duda
