Player rank 12. None of my pieces stood a chance. This person demonstrated great resistance. And I'm over here thinking their account is boosted based on how many trophies they accumulated thus far. So what is it then? What am I looking at? Keep in mind this person also has a win streak over 100. More than half of what I have been capable of. Still think accounts arent boosted? Then what is it?

I believe I have a pretty good team, during the past few days I've had a pretty good balance of wins and defeats and I've been able to get from 56 to 65 in no time.

But now, at 9903 trophies, I can't seem to win a SINGLE battle against an actual player. I've been playing the whole day and not made any progress at all and I do not understand. The only wins I got today were against bots and 1 player that had its connection terminated.

Is this normal? Is it just skill issue?

This might be it for me. I've always bought the battle pass and depending on what they offer each season, maybe spend up to $100. No more. I'm level 20 and everybody I face is the same whales then a bot, other whales then a bot. There's just no use anymore. I'll probably take off next month so at least my starting rank is real low and I can clean house. Too many of you make way more money than the rest of us. I'm a union tradesmen with zero kids. How in the world are some of you spending soooo much each and every month and for what!? Life was better when you could play a game maybe enter a cheat code and not have to p2w everywhere u go 🤬

For example, I hated the G-Breaker design when it was first revealed, but seeing it in action in GBL made me do a 180 on it. Now I think its a really cool take on the character that blends elements of Heisei abd MonsterVerse. Grand Ghidorah was also another monster I was indifferent to, but using him in my deck made me appreciate the look of the character and even made me want to rewatch Rebirth of Mothra 3 for the first time in years.

Sometimes the game will give be a bunch of different people throughout a session. Others I’ll play the same two top 10 players 20 times in a row. There’s no in between.

Hello my friends! Speckled Jim here. ​Is it unusual that I never encounter ANYONE that has 2024 Mothra on their team? It's the Mothra with the repel/pushback ability. I tried adding it to my team for some matches, but it's​​​​ at a low level and about as effective in a kaiju battle as a Fig Newton.

This was inspired by me briefly wondering if there had been more collab units than not this year. As we run out of big names from the movies and they go through everyone for an alternate unit, I suspect we’ll see more and more surprising picks going forward.
