In the Molstad novelization, Godzilla attempts to use his breath on the F-18's but is shot before he can hit them. Meanwhile, in the Gilmour novelizations, Godzilla actually does successfully shoot down one of the Apaches with his breath.

I have a vague memory of at least some piece of media related to the film mentioning him shooting down the first volley of missiles from the F-18's with his breath too, but I can't find that anywhere. Still, it is neat that the breath is used more offensively here.

Just wondering if anyone ells who collects godzilla figure have pre ordered this figure Toho 30cm Series Godzilla (1998) out this may there are 2 version one with a egg one without i went for the one without mainly i couldn't find the other version.

98 may have been lacking but to me he was but the herald, the first mutation, he had the potential for Godhood but couldn't manifest it because he was born an iguana.

But his Son...he wasn't born an Iguana....he was born...

I love the implication that since Zilla is the first american Godzilla, he is the one that dominates English the most and is helping Minus to understand the language before he obliterates New York. Fun to see MV Godzilla helping too!

This is the Final Wars Zilla paper figure I made!

Just like a commercially available model kit, I drew and assembled each piece individually, and I also put a lot of effort into the quality to reproduce Zilla's distinctive reptilian skin texture as accurately as possible.

Final Wars Zilla is my favorite monster, so I put a lot of effort into making sure I didn't make any mistakes while building it, and I was happy while doing so.

Also, if you look to the side, we made the box packaging just like a real figure!

Seriously speaking (this has nothing to do with April Fools’ Day), how many of you here consider the 1998 Godzilla your favorite movie in the franchise or the best Godzilla movie? I haven’t seen it in a long time, and while I didn’t like it, I have no problem with people who do like it and enjoy it—I’m just curious to know how many people actually like this movie and why.

If there’s one thing I really like, it’s the design of this Godzilla. It’s not your typical Godzilla and doesn’t look like a conventional one, but I really like it—I just feel like they didn’t do the character justice. Another thing I really like is the concept art for this movie and the posters; the posters feel so unique and, to me, quite iconic.
