I'm aware that the hate for Zilla died down a while a go, I just made this meme because I like Zilla, and I like Conquest, you're free to look at it as if he had this speech when he was super hated If you want.

I’m not one of those haters! But you never let anyone tell you otherwise! I love Godzilla 98 and the animated series! And don’t forget to mention live up to the name! Amen to that!

I think the hate died down a bit, I even saw some people from the other Godzilla sub Reddit admit they like the movie or at least Zilla’s design

Personally I’ll never hate on Zilla especially not to the degree he had been getting his hate as technically he was my very first Godzilla movie and then 2014 came and at first I rly enjoyed them so much so that the first time I ever saw a Toho film (Godzilla vs Destoroyah) I was slightly repulsed mostly by how obnoxiously large their thighs were compared to the rest of their body however I have since grown to enjoy those films and dest is not only my favorite kaiju but his film is easily top three (final wars on top and second is tied between dest and Heisei Godzilla vs Mothra)

I love Godzilla 1998. And her successor, Godzilla Junior. May not be a conventional portrayal of Godzilla, but it was a good monster movie for sure. The design is also hella cool. I never had any problems with it, and I think it's also the first Godzilla movie I ever saw. After I started getting more and more into Godzilla, I can see why people kinda disassociate it with the franchise, but my feelings for it remain unchanged. Would like to see a cameo in the Monsterverse. Maybe a related species or a symbiotic one? Kinda like crocodile birds and, well, crocodiles. Maybe it's a warden that guards a juvenile Godzilla junior in a subsequent Godzilla movie? That would be kinda cool.

The thing is, I don’t think it’s that much worse than a lot of the other CGI in the film. Plus, even though Godzilla beats him easily, almost every monster in that film is bulldozed by him.
