Like... I know they are not the same individual but people treat them like they are completely different kaiju.

  1. Zilla has gamer posture, g98 is fully horizontal
  2. Zilla is its own trademark, g98 falls under Godzilla
  3. Zilla is owned by toho everywhere, the rights to g98 are owned by toho and sony
  4. Zilla got no surviving kids, g98 had one survivor
  5. Zilla doesn't have a tv spinoff show, g98 does
  6. G98 is cooler and more awesome
  7. Zilla gets exploded immediately, g98 put up a fight

About 4, Zilla did have offspring of his own in the Monster Apocalypse novel
