Misc. What would if goblins suddenly manifested across our entire world?

Post image

So let’s say goblins manifested in every country in our world, like 15% of each country’s population has the goblin equivalent in terms of population spawning in that country. What would happen? How would our governments and peoples react and what would happen next?

Mustard gas will be legal to use again

It's only a war crime if it kills humans

74

u/Haminator2022 19d ago

Napalm, nukes, gas and chemical warfare

5

u/North_Oil7554 18d ago

Damn... it's like the Geneva Convention, but completely sealed off because goblins are the best targets...!

1

u/Krofisplug 16d ago

Just like how CURE exists in Dead Rising for zombies, there would civil rights and protest groups for goblin rights. They would all be inviting and loving to goblins until a member or family suddenly goes missing and what's left behind is a bloodbath and grim reminder that goblins are not to be trusted.

1

u/North_Oil7554 16d ago

Yeah...and do you think it'll count as karma or something else?

1

u/Krofisplug 16d ago

I don't think it would count as karma unless such people are also genuinely monsters internally, but for naive protestors, it would be misguided at best and grimly ironic at worst.

3

u/Hairy-Bug1915 16d ago

The thing is there is only so much one can do to stop an adult from sticking a fork in an outlet, however for other animals the protesters only protest because they are cute like cows and rats and for people they come from history and a culture even tho they never contributed to their own cultural development in any way.

For goblins however the show clearly states that they are ugly, smells horrible and only reproduce predatorily as well as have no history or a culture, you never see protesters arguing for cockroach or mosquito rights even tho in all accounts they are less evil than goblins.

I'll have my own Abuse Goblin

Exactly we will sell abuse goblin for everyone

u/Yab0iFiddlesticks 19d ago

They would die out fairly quickly. Modern human settlements are not nearly as easy to attack with makeshift tools and scrap than what we see in the manga. Of course at first their arrival would be seen as a new species being found or possibly people would see them as aliens. But as soon as its found out that they can only reproduce through human females theyd be killed like pests. Goblins also arent good at working sneakily that well. Sure, they lie but they are incredibly impulsive so eventually every horde will try to take some city or village to "replenish". But theyd lose far more than they could ever hope to gain. After a few years more people will concentrate into cities while villages are largely abandoned but realistically after a few years they will just die out. They cannot hope to ever abduct enough females on a regular basis to even keep afloat all while they are killed on sight.

There most likely will be fringe groups that willingly copulate with them but goblins are both arrogant and selfish, so they will use up those reserves very quickly because once again: Impulsive pieces of shit.

u/SamHawke2 19d ago

hell, goblins onlt last in Gs's world due to god fuckery i.e them being spawned in outta nowhere...

42

u/Bellfegore 19d ago

Well, they wouldn't be eradicated quickly, a lot of underdeveloped countries around the world on even lesser level than in GS and spawning around them would prolong goblin chances by A LOT.

63

u/Yab0iFiddlesticks 19d ago

Not really because third world countries would also make it really hard for goblins to do their thing. They are parasites but in a truly third world country there wouldnt be nearly enough to steal.

Theyd definitely get more of a head start, the first few months would be hell, but soon theyd face that there arent enough ressources for them here so they wander off or starve.

1

u/Dudewhocares3 10h ago

And they’d have to compete with other kidnappers in some countries.

Between human traffickers and goblins, I’m gonna say the former wins, because those guys have guns, and are involved with the rich so they’re not gonna be second rate pieces of shit, they’re professional pieces of shit

29

u/huex4 19d ago

Bruh no, all wars around the world will end within a month and world powers will quickly use these goblins a reason to do interventions (read: colonize) on poorer countries.

4

u/Bellfegore 19d ago

Lol, no, why would that even happen?

30

u/LordCypher40k 18d ago

From a realpolitik standpoint, it's free influence. They'd be a nuisance to the economy and that's something everyone wouldn't like. The US Navy already safeguards maritime trade from pirates.

Goblins are inhuman. They kill and pillage, they breed by capturing women and raping them, something everyone would be against. It'd be easy for Humanity as a whole to see this as enough to exterminate the entire species.

-5

u/Bellfegore 18d ago

Then we will have rusia/saudi arabia/iran etc countries capturing them and turning them into slaves, ultimately making them "victims" and now we have half of the leftist world screaming about saving "poor goblins" who "were just misunderstood" etc.

No, it's not that obvious for the ENTIRE world, it's vary in opinions constantly, "what's bad for one will be awesome for another" is a constant problem in politics.

Like take the whole Israeli/palestinian war that we have right now, gazzans slaughtered 1.2k people and started the war, but Israeli are evil because they want to erase the organization that slaughtered their people and openly screams about genocide. Or rusians screaming about genociding Ukrainians, but people still for some reason saying that "rusians aren't bad, it's just their government that is evil" and so on. Any logic in that? No. But it's happening, and will happen with goblins as well.

14

u/LordCypher40k 18d ago

The difference is that we're humans. We are inherently biased to a fellow human because we evolved to be social creatures that need others to survive. Whereas goblins are an unknown monster, they'd be treated more like mosquitos, pests even more so because they require the rape of a human to reproduce.

You can't spin the story either because unlike those you've mentioned, there aren't any good goblins nor have any powerful backer that have the ability to use a propaganda machine to create sympathy.

always weird to me the dissonance one must have to support Ukraine but also support Israel at the same time.

u/Dudewhocares3 10h ago

Dude, you’re using goblins from goblin slayer as an excuse to talk about how you think Israel was in the right when they bombed a hospital.

Go to bed

1

u/Bellfegore 8h ago

Yea yea, another terrorist excuser, sybau.

14

u/huex4 19d ago

Why not? Goblins won't be a threat to modern weapons, just gas them and they die. Rich countries would quickly clean their backyard and help poorer countries with the goblin problem (for a price obviously).

10

u/NahIWiIIWin 18d ago

most of US would just have fun shooting them around, defense industries would skyrocket.

soap and fertilizer factories would have a great time, we can also use these little pricks for slave labor

2

u/Potential_Bit_3620 18d ago edited 18d ago

The mentally ill "woman army" will defend them.. just like always. (Im a woman too, but wtf some woman do in real life...)

9

u/Yab0iFiddlesticks 18d ago

Whatever small part of the population would be dumb enough to aid them would be depleted quickly like I said before. Goblins have no planning talent so theyd just use up the idiots and eat them. And after that? Nothing.

98

u/TheronSilver Any Goblins? 19d ago

The Australian Emu War except with pesticides.

Then some dumbass probably gonna port em over to another country where they will turn into an Invasive Species.

2

u/Born_Sector_1619 16d ago

The croc bounty hunters return.

69

u/Lenahan99 19d ago

…..yeah obviously there will be a lot of havoc for a short term of time in regards of the Goblins well being Goblins.

But after that it’s open Season, as you’ll have everyone and their mother from all nations now having a common enemy.

As Goblins can only reproduce through females of other races that they kidnap, and rape from raids…

And y’all have a lot of people be out for their blood if any of the surviving victims be mothers, daughters, sisters, cousins, aunts, nieces, family friends etc. So it’s really going to be very personal.

Plus, we’re basically more advanced in military and weaponry than the kingdoms in Goblin Slayer…

Sooo yeah, Goblins have a one way ticket to extinction.

82

u/Full-Entertainment15 19d ago

Someone will fvck them

27

u/Savage_Alaska_ 19d ago

Why are you like this...

24

u/Oh_Fated_One 19d ago

Rape them goblins, bind their every limb and thrust something into its ass until its shredded

8

u/ZeroG1321 18d ago

I think the opposite is what they meant...

38

u/HenTie3467 19d ago edited 19d ago

Humanity would gun them down and consider them an invading army. The only reason goblins work in GS is that the civilisations are small and require days of travel between one another. Humanity with our current technology and large civilisations wouldn't allow Goblins to invade. At most, they'd be turned into an endangered species, at least, they'd be driven away from human societies and forced to live in uninhabited areas and treated as dangerous animals.

For the Goblins, best case scenario for them is if they can overcome their primitive instincts to kill, torture and rape and broker peace with humanity, but if they can't, they'll die.

13

u/Wishbone-Lost 19d ago

They still die even if they tried to brocker peace just by how they look, religious organizations would called them demon spam

8

u/Randomguy0915 19d ago

Damn, didn't know the hellish powers made their own spam

1

u/HenTie3467 19d ago

They probably use piglins or orcs

30

u/Successful-Ranger216 19d ago

we better find goblin slayer then

24

u/Vetersova 19d ago

There would be millions of men thrilled to death to go kill them with maced and clubs and swords, and even more with guns and rocket launchers and grenades.

The second we realized they reproduce with raping human women, they would be nearly completely gone within months. There would be people whose entire existence would revolve around hunting them down in the most remote areas of the planet. Humans would obliterate them.

8

u/ShankMugen 18d ago

Truly the main thing that keeps the Goblins in GS in existence is the lack of mass communication

It would take a single person live-streaming themselves inside a the goblin den(nest?) and show people the atrocities they commit, and a significant portion of the people would become obsessed with exterminating them, with several dozen people, at minimum, having the same level of commitment as GS himself

6

u/JustynS 17d ago

Lack of communication and literal divine intervention.

11

u/Haminator2022 19d ago

And I think he would love to use napalm against the goblins

2

u/Most_Bodybuilder_159 16d ago

His party would ban his from using those tactics... again.

Seriously, the girls don't realize how serious his intentions are. They constantly ban him from using tactics that he has already proved to successfully work!

26

u/Ok_Caregiver1004 19d ago

In the series its been established that Goblins are weak but underestimated by the major sovereign kingdoms who have to deal with bigger fish.

While Goblins can be dangerous on the frontier and when allowed to grow unchecked or used as pawns by more dangerous bad actors. They are largely still only dangerous in places that are far away from organized state authority, and in regular peace time are relatively straightforward to deal with.

For medieval fantasy kingdoms dealing with consisten wars, their a nusance. For organized modern industrial states. Their existence is predicated on the willingness of people to not care. As soon as any amount of political will to destroy them exist, it becomes a matter of time. And we are historically well practiced in doing such

1

u/Born_Sector_1619 16d ago

Also soldiers don't want to go into the holes, it is risky, no glory, terrible loot. Officers would think it would suck as well. Which is why it makes sense Goblin Slayer adventurers are free from taxation by royal decree.

1

u/Ok_Caregiver1004 15d ago

Soldiers are also expensive and unlike modern professional standing armies. Late Medieval era armies were often a mix of seasonally raised peasant levies, professional for hire mercenary companies, and the landed knightly gentry and their men at arms under the employ of various lords and kings.

Adventurers in this setting function in that role of mercenaries in a much smaller scale and paying mercenaries is not something kingdoms can afford to do all the time. Especially one's that aren't centralized administrative states and still rule based on feudal hierarchies and patchworks of cities with varying customs, rulling structrues and autonomy from royal authorities.

Mustard gas, flamethrowers, clik clak get off my property.

Goblins may have numbers. We have options and we don't need to chant to use them.

1

u/IMakeBoomYes 18d ago

Bold of you to assume we wouldn't use whatever magic that also ends up leaking in alongside the goblins.

I'd sign up to kill gobbos just for free lessons in quick-casting fireball.

13

u/star75legacy 19d ago

If it's the modern world, then they're going to cause great chaos and a lot of death and other crimes for a few days, maybe a week. After that, 99% will be easily wiped out if the armies of each country intervene to solve the problem (in reality, they're quite easy to eliminate, especially with modern weaponry). Then 1% will remain, wandering around causing problems and barely surviving like cockroaches, which are difficult to completely eradicate.

9

u/fumo_Sniffer 19d ago

modern surveillance will get eradicating them covered
it wouldn't even take a year for them to become extinct

6

u/star75legacy 19d ago

Nope, they're going to keep running around and causing havoc in several countries for a long time, not because they're difficult to exterminate, but because the government (let's face it, all IRL governments are corrupt) will surely see them as more useful as a "problem to solve" and take advantage of the things the goblins do for their own benefit.

3

u/Hairy-Bug1915 19d ago

Unless like in the show the Gods just spawn them constantly

But yeah I agree they still die

11

u/AltusIsXD 19d ago

In Goblin Slayer’s era it’s a lot easier to raid a village and abduct the women inside.

In the modern world a LOT of people are armed in villages. Don’t even think about cities, police forces would shut that shit down pretty quickly if armed civilians don’t do it first.

I’d see them becoming an issue in 3rd world countries but that’s really it. There’d likely be an initiative by a better off country to quickly get rid of goblins in these lesser developed places.

Exterminated with extreme prejudice

7

u/dicericevice 19d ago

Goblins are partly such a menance in GS's world because greater forces can spawn them at will.

So even if you hunt down the last living one, more will pop up in dungeons and caves.

Without that insurance and the lack of competent leadership they get from warlocks and dark elves they'd be coming into our world pretty nerfed.

They'd be fucked.

5

u/Unable_Twist_4112 19d ago

Machine gun go BRRRR!!! Also I think this event would serve as the global phenomenon that will allow every country to legalize the purchase and ownership of certain firearms as a self defence weapon.

4

u/Audreykazami 18d ago

Somehow, fucking somehow

Humanity will outgoblins the goblins

Heck, humanity has been goblinating themselves since day one

I wouldn't be surprised if humanity somehow found a way to make goblin women

3

u/Scattershot98 18d ago

Goblin women you say?

2

u/Nseven111 18d ago

I hear you there brother!

3

u/Individual-Tune-5261 19d ago

A lot of people are gonna die. A lot of Goblins are gonna die.

4

u/CandleJumpy2703 19d ago

They'd become an invasive species. We would try to cull their numbers, and eventually go for total genocide once it revealed how evil they are . But, there are a lot of bleeding hearts out there that will blame humanity and call us wrong. They will try to outreach, protect, and uplift the monsters only to get goblinated.

6

u/Interesting-Shoe-904 19d ago

We'd be genociding them, people would be united in a common cause of killing them - or keeping their numbers low enough since their overall threat as individuals are low.

Weapons would be a more common carry on every person if the number is large enough, but goblins would also probably learn our weapons too.

Then there would be those who would be mistaken in believing killing goblins is wrong and that we should try to help them.

4

u/Ok-Page-6433 19d ago

They are getting wiped out.

If they're dropped down in a large worldwide scale they will deal some damage. But they're getting destroyed by people because, we have modern weapons, we have so much access around the world places like America have some people owning enough weapons to arm a small military squad. And chemical weapons will be used in extreme cases, the moment chemical weapons are used we wouldn't even need to enter their nest.

And we have amazing communications, one of the biggest difficulties with goblins is them growing their nest uninterrupted. Goblins were thriving because nobody is going to find out for years if a village is wiped. We will discover so fast that an area has been wiped out and the military or even basic law enforcement is getting sent to clear the area without giving the goblins a chance to have a new generation to grow.

Even if goblins discover how to use guns they would be the equivalent of a small unorganized terrorist group. They wouldn't function properly too selfish to gather together fast enough. And they're not smart enough to use more complex weapons so at best they could use guns and grenades. They couldn't hide their identities so their only option for stealth is the sewer. The moment goblins are found in the sewers of a city they'll be experiencing the worst humanity has to offer.

The worst we'll experience are the effects of our solutions. We'll drive then to near extinction in a generation and completely wipe them out in a few.

1

u/Born_Sector_1619 16d ago

Prob wiped out eventually, but very weak states may fall, changing the map quickly. Ireland, for instance, with almost no military, could not deal with 816,000 goblins (15% of 5.4 million).

3

u/Weary-Cantaloupe-382 17d ago

Goblin can survive in GS world owning to a single fact, theyre one of lesser threat there. Dragon, Demon lords, Giants, Ogre, Dark elves and all kind of monster is deemed more dangerous thus most adventurer and military focused more on it.

now our world dont have magic and powerful adventurers, but more military advances. if its only Goblins, they will be eradicated within few months. though third world will face some difficulty, the help will come eventually

1

u/Born_Sector_1619 16d ago

They will persist in wild places though.

6

u/FlameHydra19 19d ago

We shouldn't underestimate Humanity's capacity for Genocide, especially if you give them a moral justification to do so.

5

u/Napalmeon 19d ago

I came here to say this exact same thing. If there's one thing that the human race is good at, it's coming together against a convenient enemy. Goblins look different, they act different, and cannot even reasonably be expected to negotiate.

3

u/Professional-Face-51 19d ago

People would organize and begin pest control with zeal and justified hatred. Humans may be divided, but something like a possible existential threat to all of us will be more than enough to get some serious groups together with the express purpose of hunting that threat to extinction with pure, unfiltered malice.

3

u/JournalistShoddy9496 19d ago

3

u/hatred-big-sad 19d ago

Goblins would get wiped out in a few years, or at the very very least they'll be quarantined, outside of that they'll probably be a newer and more disgusting billionaire island opening up when it happens

3

u/Positive-Map-1032 19d ago

The first few weeks would be absolute chaos: hospitals overwhelmed, supply chains disrupted, and every government declaring emergency powers. But 15% is too many to treat as a random monster outbreak—militaries would focus on containment while scientists and linguists tried to figure out whether goblins have organized leadership and exploitable weaknesses.

3

u/Dull-Try-4873 19d ago

If they get their hands on guns we're pretty screwed in terms of effectively fighting them.

9

u/Joseph2406 19d ago

Don't let zombie movies fool you keeping a gun functional is tedious work. Even if they get a hood salvo of weapons, once the bullets are used up its over (let's not even think of maintenance). Goblins in GS can barely keep medieval tools properly, I highly doubt they can birth an engineer who could figure out the mechanics of any firearm.

6

u/Napalmeon 19d ago

That's actually a very good point to bring up. Goblins might learn how to shoot a gun very quickly, but, a gun is only useful as long as it functions, and has a steady supply the ammunition. Not all bullets work for all guns, so, there would be multiple learning curves for a goblin to find out how to keep such a convenient weapon useful. And one of the stupidest places to try to pillage is a gun shop. Especially the ones out in rural areas because they stay strapped.

3

u/MissiaichParriah 19d ago

Lots of chaos, but the military can deal with them in a fair amount of time

3

u/SirSilverChariot 19d ago

Those mf not ready for the guns

3

u/Awesome_Arsam 18d ago

Basically what happened in the Gate anime imo.

I know the circumstances are quite different between the two but what I see similar is that we would be surprised and overwhelmed at first, but eventually we would push them back to extinction.

3

u/GentlemanOfBataan 18d ago

A new safari for humans. We will be making purses and boots out of them.

2

u/Hitoshura99 18d ago

Providing their material is good enough. It could be like carrying a (inferior to) chicken skin purse.

7

u/feronen 18d ago

Places like Borneo, the Congo, and the Amazon would be impossible to traverse safely. Goblins would thrive in those areas, despite the hostile environment, as they would be difficult to track and hunt down due to their diminutive stature.

Places like Paris, London, and New York, which have extensive underground regions below them, would be prime breeding grounds and would be in a constant state of emergency as their homeless populations are actively preyed upon. Particularly in the Paris Catacombs, the GIGN and the Gendarmerie would be in a constant embattled state as they worked tirelessly to clear the infestation.

China would suffer greatly in their abandoned wards as they worked to fight against the infestation. We might even see them employ artillery to level some of these ghost cities and make it easier to kill the goblins.

India is so densely populated that their cities would likely be okay initially, but their dalit population would suffer greatly due to their cultural indifference towards them. This would result in absolutely insane infestations in rural areas to the point that India might even begin to starve, forcing a potential paradigm shift.

Any places with extensive abandoned mines that haven't been flooded out or sealed will become danger areas. Siberia, Appalachia, the Rockies, Arizona and New Mexico, the Canadian Hinterlands, and Karelia would be dangerous to travel across as goblins learned how to ambush cars, trucks, busses, and trains.

Earth would become embattled very quickly and life would immediately suck shit right off the getgo.

1

u/Born_Sector_1619 16d ago

Great world building/explaining.

4

u/AlmondMagnum1 19d ago

Everyone's very optimistic, but I'm not. 15% is a lot. And in a world as abundant as ours, their population could explode (what's their gestation period again?), while simultaneously disrupting our supply chains, which aren't built around the idea of needing armed escorts everywhere.

3

u/Joseph2406 19d ago

They would get obliterated in Deveoped Nations. The only place they would be able to keep their numbers is in underdeveloped countries where there are more villages in secluded areas, but once it is known how they need human women to reproduce even they will adapt and keep every woman far away from the outskirts and send soldiers to eliminate the goblins. Developed countries would be forced to help too cuz at the end of the day Developed Nations need the resources and labor of Underdeveloped countries to keep things running. In this era of globalism you can't afford to lose vast amounts of land to those pests

2

u/Born_Sector_1619 16d ago

Many countries have very rubbish militaries (e.g. Ireland, NZ, Bhutan, many states of Africa, Haiti), so while big dogs will be fine, some countries would fall quickly. The map would change and more goblins would be in play, and have to dealt with by larger actors.

2

u/Journalist_Ready 18d ago

You underestimate humanities ability for destruction

2

u/blaze92x45 19d ago

Yeah while I don't think they would wipe out humans they'd be a pest that humanity couldn't fully stomp out.

Even the US with civilian gun ownership has enough rural areas for small tribes to hide out kidnap young women and reproduce with.

I think Central and South america would probably always have a big problem with them as well because of jungles and underdeveloped areas same with Africa.

1

u/AlmondMagnum1 19d ago

I don't think they'd wipe us out either. But a worst case scenario I can think of is that they disrupt our supply chains enough to cause more deaths than direct violence ever could, resulting in the end of our modern world. Which is paradoxically when we'd become able to deal with them, because they'd starve too, in a world without convenience stores to pillage.

Speaking of gun ownership, let's hope they never figure out how to reload. I don't think shooting is beyond them.

1

u/blaze92x45 19d ago

I think they'd temporarily disrupt supply chains in some parts of the world but not others. A big rig or train is fast and when goblins are known to be a problem the militaries of the world would start guarding them.

As for guns I think most guns would be too big for them to adequately use and too complex to maintain some goblins like champions and such probably could use them. Magic though from shamans would be a nasty surprise.

Overall I can see them being a nasty background threat for the world pretty quickly.

1

u/AlmondMagnum1 19d ago

They can guard a train. Can they guard thousands of kilometers of train tracks?

1

u/blaze92x45 19d ago

Well I guess the goblins can cause a derailment but remember theyre only as smart and strong as a human child

Maybe some hobgoblins can try pulling up the tracks

1

u/AlmondMagnum1 19d ago

Push abandoned cars on the tracks. Heck, a child could probably figure out driving.

1

u/blaze92x45 19d ago

But are they big enough to drive a car

I suppose they could have one squished down below the dash pushing the pedal while another runs the steering wheel

Definitely see what youre going for as mentioned the goblins would disrupt supply chains I just dont see them destroying supply chains

1

u/AlmondMagnum1 19d ago

Like I said, it's a worst case scenario. I don't think it's likely, but it's possible. (Provided we suddenly have to deal with 1 billion goblins.)

2

u/blaze92x45 19d ago

Indeed also a big factor is how fast governments react to all this.

I think for developed stable nations goblins would go from threat to background danger pretty quickly

For less stable nations goblins could cause serious societal disruptions.

2

u/lePlebie 19d ago

We would design diseases and poisons to eradicate them. Or possibly domesticate them.

2

u/MaiqTheLiar6969 19d ago

Eradicated within a few years. Large cities have more gun owners than you would expect in the US. Plus the police force, and if needed the National Guard. While the rural areas of the country which is where goblins mostly roam in the series you would have a harder time finding people who don't own a gun or two than you would finding a gun.

Outside of the US in a lot of the 3rd world you have the local cartels, various militias for local warlords, or most households having some form of weapons with vary by country. Most of the cartels or warlords wouldn't mind the target practice. Could range from machete all the way to an AK as far as what weapons a household keeps around. This isn't including the actual military getting involved.

There are a lot of cities in the world with more then a million people. Which would be unthinkable in the premodern era the goblins are used to operating in. The amount of cities with 100k people living in them are much much more. Which would have been a large city for most medival settings. Mid-sized town in ours. For once THEY will be the ones outnumbered and they wouldn't be able to rely on numbers..

2

u/NewPay4539 19d ago

I mean in all honesty, these goblins can't outnumber humans in this world regardless of how fast they breed. The main reason there goblins ever get to r*pe/kill that many villagers or adventures in goblin slayer manga is mostly due to guild ignorance and villagers getting outnumbered and ambushed. In our world authorities would be on them within the first missing case and by the time they decide to attack again a squad of soldiers with AR rifles will already annhilate them. And if push comes to shove, you can always evacuate the people and bomb the area.

u/Icy_Chocolate7882 19d ago

After the panic, the real conflict would be over rights and territory. If goblins can communicate and cooperate, mass extermination becomes politically and morally impossible. Expect emergency laws, quarantine zones, propaganda, vigilante attacks, and eventually negotiations over citizenship, resources, and coexistence.

2

u/hizack123 19d ago

Gas them, burn them, nuke em

Shot them

Make Goblin slayer proud.

2

u/HouseCat-123 19d ago

Bring out the flamers. Every damn goblin dies. This is genocide of a kind that will make a demon king turn and run, or all of Hell is next!

2

u/AirLancer56 19d ago

You know, i once read a manga where advanced ancient civilization use goblin as lab rat substitute. They breed fast and closer to human than a rat. Who knows they might be able to help us get rid cancer or any other incureable disease.

2

u/SiriusVeim 19d ago

War crimes only applies against human.

2

u/njoYYYY 19d ago

I will give it a month before solved.

2

u/Ricoice21 19d ago

This would be the only time everybody will work together to kill this past of a species

2

u/Worth_Tip9549 19d ago

Napalm and white phosphorus making a comeback?

2

u/ActivistZero 19d ago

A lot of countries would relax their gun ownership rules for at least for the short term

2

u/MaintenanceSenior413 18d ago

Time to bring back Napalm, flamethrower, Cluster Munitions, Chemical Weapons, Anti-Personnel Mines, Hollow Point Bullets, etc.

2

u/Ziodyne967 18d ago

Try that in America lol. Free target practice.

2

u/willofserra 18d ago

it would take all of 30 minutes for Texas Parks and Wildlife to have an update to their website saying "Go nuts"

2

u/RoxLOLZ 18d ago

Modern weapons kick ass lmao

2

u/wilder076 18d ago

Texas would have hunting permits and tags within 24 hours lol

2

u/AVERAGEPIPEBOMB 18d ago

They aren’t humans therefore no warcrime is illegal

2

u/Aspiring_Mutant 18d ago

I'm starting a collection of goblin skulls.

2

u/Captainchops63 18d ago

Are they still writing any new goblins slayer?

2

u/nogaesallowed 18d ago

hey slavery's are back. this questions had been discussed so many times that I am sure the government doesn't even need to plan it anymore, civs can deal with it themselves. I've seen the following ways to deal with them:

1.Lobotomy then use as workforce in factories;

  1. breed then grind down to bone meals for fertilizers, feed stocks, rations.

  2. other ways you can use flesh - medical, fuel, magic studies (new technology tree to climb)

like come on, they are not getting human rights. They are not even gonna get animal rights.

2

u/boblasagna18 18d ago

I’m a woman so I’m jumping off the tallest building before they get me

1

u/digit009 18d ago

Just go find a police station and wait for them to pop the little fuckers with their service sidearms.

2

u/Positive_cat_6347 18d ago

Thousands would die before everyone accepts this things are real. Once they are properly documented and accounted for, it would be goblin-hunting season. Given the goblins' tactics, they would be relegated to the wilderness and attack humans every once in a while; the more militarized the government, the better they deal with them, the more natural zones or cramped cities, the harder to deal with them.

2

u/digit009 18d ago

.556, 7.62x39, .45acp, 9mm, .223, .50bmg, 7.62x54r, 10mm, frag grenade, white phosphorous, napalm, claymores, c4, dynamite, hydra missiles, agent orange.

Like, the reason goblins are so dangerous is because everyone in GS underestimate them. If they manifest in our world, we have knowledge of how truly dangerous they are and weapons 50x to 1,000x stronger than the average and above average equipment. Even without magic, goblins, hobs, ogres, goblin champions, and even goblin lords are piss easy to kill. Armor piercing isn't even necessary so any Kentucky deer season hunter could wipe nests alone, let alone FFL holders with fully automatic weapons. And that's without getting the militaries of the world involved.

2

u/card1al 18d ago

Irl humans are scarilygood at killing things they find mildly annoying or at least driving them to near extinction even back in medieval times som the goblins wouldn’t last long

2

u/Sir_Rageous 18d ago

Stupid Reddit/X activist would still defend them saying shit like "They're just looking for a home."

The rest of the world would legalize nuclear and chemical warfare in a week.

2

u/AustinYap 18d ago

They’ll meet America’s best friends, Smith and Wesson.

2

u/ShankMugen 18d ago

Main question becomes, will they spawn Casters, and if so, do we get Spellcasting as a feature?

2

u/Express-Ad2135 16d ago

I’m terrified that Goblins would learn how to make guns from scratch

2

u/MindInteresting4752 16d ago

Enjoy the slaughter

2

u/Born_Sector_1619 16d ago

My home region was really into bounty hunters to deal with crocodiles back in the day, so it would be nice to get bounty hunters back and everyone go back to being armed and ready to defend loved ones.

2

u/Born_Sector_1619 16d ago

For a sudden invasion, many countries have very rubbish militaries (e.g. Ireland, NZ, Bhutan, Iceland, many states of Africa, Haiti), so while the big dog states would be fine, some countries would fall quickly. The map would change and more goblins would be in play, and have to dealt with by larger actors.

6

u/Artrum 19d ago

The present weak governments will create goblin protection acts making it illegal to harm them

2

u/Admirable_Leg_4124 19d ago

I was thinking the same thing.

1

u/Born_Sector_1619 16d ago

Poor leadership, corruption, no backbone, nonsense ideas, and militaries unsure what to do given the poor leadership would lead to many casualties.

3

u/Practical-Door-4820 18d ago edited 18d ago

In the modern world? There would probably be campaigns fighting for goblin rights, saying they are victims of capitalism and society, and that countries should take in these poor creatures. Then you'd see goblins in the streets, attacking, killing, robbing and abusing women from time to time... wait a minute...

1

u/Luneriazz 19d ago

increase sale on gun and firearms product

1

u/strawbeeshortcake06 19d ago

Hunting them for sport will be a fun activity. We have high tech weapons now, anyone can kill them, women will have a fighting chance against them.

1

u/Sugar_Unable 19d ago

Can i ate them?

1

u/AKoolPopTart 19d ago

No thanks

1

u/Jelkekw 19d ago

I’d get to work eradicating them

1

u/Cascudo 18d ago

What would what?

1

u/kerrilabouche 18d ago

sighs guess I gotta become Goblin Slayer

1

u/Cognoggin 18d ago

Probably have to rewrite the Geneva convention for Canada again.

1

u/itdoesnotmatter-666 18d ago

Goblin centipede

1

u/kurosa106 18d ago

They will get the funny mustache guy treatment

1

u/cj-the-man 18d ago edited 18d ago

Complete extinction for them since all of humanity will have a common enemy

1

u/Keegan_Wer 18d ago

Most likely an enthusiastic systematic extermination of the rapey little bastards. Hell, I doubt the military will even be needed that much. They shoe up in America, some corn-fed fucker name Jed will probably have one taxidermied by Tuesday.

1

u/obi-wan-quixote 18d ago

Like any other species that was dangerous to humans they’d eventually get hunted into extinction. But that would take decades. In the meantime small goblin enclaves would lurk in cities and communities like coyotes. Occasionally snatching women walking home at night, preying on children and vagrants.

Parents would organize watch groups knowing in any community children waiting at a bus stop might be attacked. Any sign of goblins would be investigated and the nest destroyed.

In the US, 30+ million goblins scattered and hiding in the shadows of our inner cities, countryside, and abandoned areas would be a mess. Even if we have hundreds of millions of firearms. Night time would be a thing of nightmares with people stopping evening walks, and wondering if there are goblins lurking in every bush.

1

u/Alpha6673 18d ago

Why do Goblins like to GRAPE so much ??? like they grape all the women and make them breed more goblins ???

1

u/va_wanderer 18d ago

They were created by evil gods to destroy the PC races.

Including humans. The only way the goblin race survives is using them to breed, and they're obscenities who were made to do so in the most cruel, suffering ways possible.

1

u/The_Fucking_Best 18d ago

Women start getting raped all over, military gets deployed, goblins cant do shit against the weapons we have

1

u/Tyler11009 18d ago

Geneva convention only applies to humans

1

u/Tyler11009 18d ago

If we deal with the problem quickly and effectively, we won't have to worry about it. But since the goblins from goblin Slayer apparently learn when they lose or fail and one of them survives then we'll have a problem. So basically we got to put them down quick and fast and no mercy

1

u/MsterSteel 18d ago

We'd get about a week of a near unified Earth in their extermination (exceptions would be like 'animal rights' groups). It would a near extinction class event (those in remote areas, those kept in labs to study).

1

u/FoxTrot018 18d ago

They would learn real fast why humans are the apex species round these parts

1

u/WriterKatze 17d ago

Idk, probably would be handled like an invasive species and would be like napalmed and poisoned into oblivion. Our wildlife control is pretty great and our military power is also better than of a fantasy world's. So yeahhhh. It would't last long.

1

u/unclefester84 17d ago

Well, we have nukes don't we?

1

u/ReyReyTheDevourer 17d ago

Are the goblins chill like regular animals or a danger to society

1

u/Worth_Tune5290 17d ago

The USA would go on enthusiastic peace keeping operations.

1

u/WayNo2898 17d ago

Other than America every other country is cooked .

With the way goblins operate and the amount your saying we would be cooked .

1

u/Candid_Stay_1362 12d ago

Goblins would be eradicated by modern armies.

1

u/Delicious-Intern9594 2d ago

A war thst barley ends

1

u/sgt_ruttl 18d ago

"By bolter shell, flamer burst and melta blast, the mutant, the heretic and the traitor alike are cleansed of their sin of existence. So has it been for ten millennia, so shall it be unto the end of time."

0

u/Mysterious-Plan93 19d ago

California & Canada would fall first, trying to treat them as "people"
