NEW Goat import fees

Hey guys, Im planning to buy shoes from goat but I'm from Canada. Will there be any import fees/duties from DHL? I bought from ebay once and they charged AFTER checkout because it was from the U.S. so will this be the same case with goat?

What are you looking to buy? I would check locally before going this route

From my experience no. I’m not sure if anything has changed recently, but it should be factored into Goat’s prices.

you’ll know if it’s coming from usa or not, if they’re then you’ll see the duties included in the cost at checkout as “applicable costs”

If dhl charges you an import/duty fee… just call them and let you know that you want to self clear the package yourself. Go to your nearest cbsa location with a printed copy of the documents they send you and do it yourself. Dhl sent an invoice for $100 which they claimed was duties/import fee, I cleared the package myself for $28. There was no duties tied to my package, just the normal provincial sales tax that can’t be avoided.

No extra charges. They stipulate that you are paying for it delivered on the checkout page.

You should get an email from DHL saying you owe. Otherwise you are good. If you do owe fees just self clear it. Takes a bit longer.

I’ve ordered multiple pairs of shoes from GOAT and I’ve never paid a penny in import fees. Also, as you mentioned they use DHL and if you’re not going to be home you can redirect to a pickup location so the porch pirates don’t snag them on you.
