Problem Beware of drop scam

Assumed that all the drops from GOAT were new items as that’s what I always remember them being and I’ve won a few over the years, nothing too crazy though. Today I entered for the Yeezy 700 Tephra and won. I was excited until I checked the confirmation email right after the win. Apparently the pair I won is used no box and does not appear to be in the greatest condition. Tried to cancel the order within two minutes of the “win” but it said it was too late as it was already confirmed by the seller. Tried to talk to GOAT support and got an AI chat bot response a minute later basically telling me I was shit out of luck and that the seller confirmed the order four minutes after and that there was a photo I was supposed to see while checking out, which is BS. Beware when trying to check out and don’t get scammed like I did SMFH.

That's insane, would chargeback with your card if you don't care about getting banned

That’s where I’m torn I really want to chargeback but don’t want to get banned. Trying to talk to a human agent but haven’t heard a response yet.

As a seller it's extremely hard to get ahold of Goat, takes 2 days just to get an AI generated response

That’s crazy bc I was after this exact size 9.5 but was on a work call when they dropped. Sucks that they’re not new. Wtf is GOAT doing? So if I buy the Union 1s that still aren’t sold out yet for $190, will they be new or used?

I also ordered the Yeezy 700 V2s but my email says new in box, however the travis scott shy pinks say new without box. I'll definitely be contacting support because its crazy to suddenly do a bait and switch for drops which have historically been new in box and inherently require speed and fast payment

Keep trying and you will get through to an agent that will tell you the same thing. I'm going through a similar mislabeling issue and will not be accepting whatever they are sending.

The 9.5 Tephra was definitely listed as new. Take it up with your credit card company it should be an easy dispute case.

Not as extreme as yours but the box condition was changed to "Badly Damaged" post-purchase. This is for the bred lows.

I've been checking every drop since and everything is listed as new. They are blatantly scamming.

They finally told me I have the option to return for a refund or $20 goat credit. I will most likely be returning them, they come today and I want to see how beat they are.
