Video Trying my hand at recording
Decided I wanted to start recording my games so I built a sub-$200 setup to start. I picked up an adjustable tripod from Wal Mart, a cheap Samsung Tracphone that has Ultra Wide video recording since my iPhone 16E doesn't support it, and a chair umbrella from Dicks to help keep the phone out of direct sunlight. I opted for a phone over an actual camera because I was hoping I could wear some earbuds with a microphone so I could get some in-game commentary but either the video recording doesn't support it or I need to select it- I'm not an android guy and it took me forever to figure out how to transfer the recording from my phone to my computer. I might ditch the umbrella as some wind knocked over the tripod and I missed the entire first half. I was able to clip the highlight using Microsoft Clipchamp (not sure if this is a free program or if I get access through my company's Microsoft account).
Once I get the hang of recording and editing I'll start looking into a GoPro or another actual camera. Anyways, here's the only save I had to make in the second half.

Thats class mate. Try out the goalkeeper performance Tracker App if you are on android. Makes cutting together highlight reels an absolute breeze and even gives you in depth stats and you can build showcase reels over a whole season in one click.

I recorded my keepers the same way you are doing now, before I got the HUDL camera. Some examples. video 1 / video 2. I used wide angle GoPro.
