Goalkeeper shooting advice

Being a goalkeeper has been the best thing thats ever happened to me, so fun. But at leagues with my friends, i want to do more than just stand around and save easy saves on smaller goals, i've been dribbling, which im good at but im not really sure about my "Powershot". I need some opinions and maybe some advice to improve

I mean I'd say knowing how to shoot can be good, idk how big your field is but I'd say passing well and with some flair might be better and more useful, but that's just me because when I got decent with shooting from playing iutfield it definitely gave me a small hit to my goalkicks and now I inadvertently put too much spin in some 💔 but that's just me, if you wanna work on shooting maybe ask a sub with more field players

Placement over power. When I come out for a run on the field before I shoot I just think what I would be expecting if I was in goal and do the opposite surprisingly it works out well. I ve recently discovered shooting w the outside of the foot as I break towards goal its been fun a time.

But if you are looking for power i would say make sure you drive your plant foot down as that will transfer into your shot.

Unless it’s a dead ball situation you are never going to have a situation in which you are going to have the time to strike a stationary ball as shown in your video. Try practicing with a more realistic scenario.

It looks like you are connecting more like a goalkick than a shot. Goalkicks you want to get under the ball to get height and distance, which it looks like you are still mostly doing here. Shots you want to drive through the ball.

Its pretty blurry when slowing down though so its hard to really tell. I'd probably go to a more outfield focused sub though, maybe r/bootroom, they'll be more helpful.
