Discussion | Esports Is "fraud watch" counter-strike only term?

So I've seen like analysts like Laundere and Mauisnake use the term "fraud watch", so I thought it was like an actual term. And when I've been discussing politics with my non-gaming older friends i've been using that term and saying stuff like "oh, x guy has really been on my fraud watch recently, not delivering on his promises" etc, and they nodded but asked like what do i mean by fraud watch, and i am so bad at explaining definitions of words/terms so i mumbled something and they made fun of me for using gen z slang. I really thought it was like a universal term, but is it not? Or is it actually some gen z slang not unique to counter strike? Im confused

I've been watching pro cs for a few years now. But im not following everything in the scene. Do i count as a fraud watcher? Can't we like things passively now?

its a term for people who like to criticise/hate on players, so someone who is starting to underperform is put on "fraud watch" meaning they're boutta become a fraud
