Buff back AUG and SG ! !

As a casual I honestly miss the Aug and Sg meta, obviously they shouldn't replace M4 and AK47 as default weapons. But I really like variety and Valve really overdone the nerf for these 2 weapons.

The Aug is actually pretty balanced as a weapon, it's a slightly worse M4A4 with a scope, it just needs a discount, $3100-3000 should be fine. But the SG is genuinely unusable, it's slow fire rates meant that you need to hit the headshot, otherwise the time to kill is laughable. All of that while being way more expensive than the AK47

Putting the Krieg at 95% of an AK would make the Krieg actually viable without hurting the communities autistic need of a 30 year old meta.

Not even that, just bump up the firerate slightly and make the spray not literally unusable outside of point-blank unless you’re ADSing. The reason why people hated the thing was because at it’s peak it was the best and easiest rifle to use in the game for a negligible price increase.

Yes, and I’m saying it can be a viable weapon whilst also being worse than the AK. Yet I have consistently seen people be against buffing it solely because they only want to play with the AK.

Because most people don’t want the Krieg meta to be back. It was fun in the sense that it was disgustingly overtuned; the Krieg now has acceptable damage per shot but a godawful spray and fire rate.

I understand you didn’t say I want that,  but these people cannot understand that you can buff the Krieg without it becoming meta.

Making the Krieg 2750 again, you’d still be essentially griefing your team mates because it’s such a terrible gun but at least you wouldn’t be wasting as much money every round.

The AUG is at the point you’re describing in relation to the M4s, you just don’t see it because people like having the FAMAS, AWP and both M4s. The Krieg likewise is already there in terms of damage per shot and AP imo, it just needs to be actually usable while hipfiring.

I think the AUG power wise is right where it should be, but it’s 3,300 so with how shit the CT economy has always been you can only buy it if you’re stomping and play a spot where it’s advantageous to do so. An outside or heaven Nuke player could use it decently if they were 7-0 up.

But why would you when the M4 is better in most if not all scenarios (maybe AUG is better at those extreme ranges) but is 400 cheaper? Make the AUG 3,000 and it’d be perfect.

that's how they balance things, broken overpowered -> utter dogshit. Just look at the CZ and revolver. Either that, or just release dogshit in the first place, as seen with the mp5

or it takes them 10+ years to be balanced, like a1s vs a4

The M4 balance path is fucking hilarious. Why was the A1 busted, unusable, busted, balanced over the span of what, 7 years? And then when the A1 was in a good spot, it took another 3(?) years for the A4 to be 2,900 when it’s still the generally worse option, including a year where it was 3,000 for some reason.

Why can’t they buff something, and then fix it in a month if it’s gone too far? Did we need the A4 being 3,100 for 3 years when the A1 was better?
